I am sorry I do not do that - this Hymn tune ( Dix ) is in every Hymn book, all denominations. Go to your local Church and they will be glad to give it to you. Have a Blessed day.
@mcgyvr2009i . It is a lovely tune. But the man who wrote the lyrics was an Anglican and the composer who wrote the tune was a I believe a Lutheran, and I have frequently heard this in Baptist services so... I guess good songs that praise the Lord can cross theological divides.
Thank you for your beautiful rendition of the ORIGINAL 1864 hymn by Folliot Pierpoint (music by Conrad Kocher). It's not that the new version by John Rutter isn't good - but of all the wonderful old hymns, why re-write the music to this one? Again, thank you!
Wow. That is great. I hope to walk down the aisle to this song on my wedding day which happens to be exactly 493 days from today...not that I am counting :)
I am singing this hymn as my soon-to-be sister-in-law walks down the isle tomorow ^.^ I've been looking for something to practice to for a while now and I'm glad I finally found it. (I always say, better late than never xD)
This was my Mum's fav hymn and I just played this on our church organ just last week. You played this so well, it brought tears to my eyes as it reminds me of my mum. Thank you so much. I love your songs!
Well sounds like you have 99% of your passion fulfilled - to Serve the LORD. Now it's your part to practice, find a music teacher you are compaitable with and watch what will happen !
I cant belive you are so prolific! It just wonderful, as well as surprising I keep logging on and there are new hymns posted..some within an hour or so of logging on :), again just wonderful indeed praise God from whom all blessings flow...and this is a blessing! Happy New Year and keep them coming. Br. John Bartholomew AIHM.
Thanks - I have some free time so I just sit down and play, I am using Windows Movie Maker and a webcam so it is easy. Many of the hymns that you are seeing now, are re-makes, trying to improve the sound quality for everyone to enjoy !
During the season of Epiphany, I enjoy contemplating this tune to "As With Gladness Men Of Old"

What would be your advice for someone wanting to learn the organ and play for the Lord so bad- but they can't read music at all -------
