The protestant work ethic is largely responsible for that. I don't agree with the "blame Christians for all evils" camp at all. I may dislike many fundamentalist evangelicals however in general the christian cultural tradition of work ethic and morals have been our benefit.

As for judging, the scriptures clearly state that Our Lord Jesus Christ came once to save and He will come once to judge. Jesus also said those who have not paid their debt will be cast into the fire of Gehenna (a dump) and burn until they have paid to the last farthing.

@dragszes I understand, we are close in religion. When the time comes, we will be united and also the Greek Orthodox, the Russians etc...but the truth in it's entirety is only held by the One, Holy, Roman Catholic Church. I don't say it to upset you. I don't want to upset anyone. I only want all souls to be saved. It is what I pray for. The Catholic Church is always the pure spouse of Our Lord. The churchmen in the Church are a different matter. Since Vatican II there has been much evil done.

@dragszes We await the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary after which the Church and the world will be purified. We pray for it daily. We are having rosary crusades for it right now. I am a traditional Catholic affiliated with the SSPX. I long for the day when all Christians are united. It will come and I believe it will not be long now.

However, i am also washed in thoughts that please me in relation to searching for truth via science. God offers me nothing, science offers me understanding.
