  • We played this in are band ((Well, a whole bunch of band together))

    Its fun :)

  • i'm horribly late to the party, but since i've at least watched the vid, all i can say is that this particular run sounded like your tubist was napping. Timing and tuning were off, but at least it sounded pretty good. one of my favorite songs to play in any ensemble :)

  • I dont mean sounding like an ass but always make sure you're tuned! i thought some parts were a little out of key but keep up the good work!!

  • The balance started off pretty bad, but then the entire thing started to get pretty good, I think. The camera diminished the quality, I just think the strings section could be a bit louder.

  • haha. im playing this for our concert tomaroow, except your verison differes from mine. i love this song though, one of the best!!!

  • well im perfect

  • No you're not.

  • my youth orchestra is soooooooo much better. we're playin it today. wish us luck ;)

  • i loved this on when r band did it. all time fav. sorrry but this version aint all that good. but hey, u tried!

  • The low brass sounds ok..no Tuba? VEry bad timing and tuning.

  • hah, we're playing this song for our next concert. We sight read it today... it wasn't pretty.

  • u guys suck

    my school is waaaay better!

  • At least they are trying!!! Not everyone is perfect!!

  • I remember playing this song back in Middle School. It was a fun one and also one of my favorites.

I don't know if it's supposed to sound like this because you could have changed it a bit, but you guys aren't sound too good.

People are off from each other and there's some bad tuning going as well.

    Good try though! :]

  • Wow, you really don't know anything about being friendly do you? There's a thing called constructive criticism. Learn it instead of being an ass.

And if you're so much better, I want to hear it.

Don't say anything if you can't even back it up.

  • girlscouter444,

LMAO You 'sound better' because you have a larger band, which means you can hide your mistakes better... duhh. Ohh, you're in junior high! I can tell.

  • I may bae a couple months late saying this but you really need to go see someone about your aditude. i mean im playing the same song and we dont have strings playing with us...BUT YOU DONT HAVE TO ACT LIKE AN ASS ABOUT!!!! THAT LAST SENTENCE JUST REALLY PISSED ME OFF!!! XE

  • we're playing this in my band right now, its really fun!! ^-^

    btw it sounds great!!!!

  • We play this one when the Altos play the melody it sounds really good.

  • way way too slow......

  • this song totally needs strings it it. Sounds much better

  • I played this at solo contest and got a 1+ in 7th grade. Plus i got first in region. It's really fun, but I actually like it with band and strings. I wish a full orchestra would record it. Are you guys middle school? If so, good enough. But maybe focus more on balance and I know your band director won't really read this comment, im not stupid.

  • u can't really play this song with out the strings

  • Sure you can. My band doesn't have one string instrument in it and we do a fine job with it in my eyes.

  • that means a lot coming from someone named "newfie". *rolls eyes* lol

  • Oh please, you can play this song without strings. I played this in middle school and it was a very good version.

  • way too slow

  • im playing this song in band

  • we are playing this for my orchstra, we have strings in it, t sounds cool though

  • wheres the tuba?! i cant hear it! its a important part!

  • I remember playing this in 6th grade

  • hmm. when they start, it wasn't really together. was it? argh.. i can't seem to play basses soli well enough. D:

  • i love this song that we played. GO PERCUSSION!

  • I love that song. I remember playing it in high school.

  • What is this! are highschool bands not allowed to play tripplets, grace notes, or sixteenth notes?

  • that's what I was just thinking. I don't get it really- I mean, my highschool played this song and there was no cutting corners. We played everything; but all of the videos i have seen thus far have simplified the song. o.O

  • Same Here

  • thats fucked. im in fucking middle school, and he yells at us if we try to cut those. they make the song sound better
