Just look at Pokemon and Digimon; they can't accept the fact that the characters are originally Japanese that they have to make them sound and look like Americans by giving them funky white yet retarded names. Lol, blame yourself for only watching those shows made by low budget studios, or to be frankly nothing else beside Armada and Pokemon. Then again, western studios are nothing superior. Simply compare Street Fighter in USA to ANY anime adaptation of that same videogame. Yea, I'm aware with that. Just stating out how people can show their double standard-ness on how it's wrong for Japanese dubbers to tweak the title with a line that won't even change the meaning but on the other hand don't mind for the westernized version (especially US) to come up with any silly and unrelated names for the title. At least ppl will still refer it as Transformers and Beast Wars given they haven't drop those names unlike Case Closed as opposed to Detective Conan.

A trait which American cartoons are nearly just as guilty of. On the other hand, they often trade a lot of quality for a slight bump in smoothness which makes it overall worse in quality. Considering that Japanese society lives on anime, there are good ones and bad ones. Pity, you just seem to look at the worse of the worse.

It's funny how people seem to just blame America for not liking the English Version of something when, in this particular instance, it was made in Canada...

Another funny thing is how in early 90s English Anime Dubbing, it was done by primarily the same V/A Company that did the voice work for Beast Wars, The Ocean Group.

Though honestly the only complaint I had in Beast Wars as far as Voice Acting goes was that Scott McNeill voiced about half the Maximal cast at one point in time...

@chuamishael Well, what would the point for a "robot in disguise" to have the form of an animal and STILL look like a robot (like, say, the dinobots, Soundwave and Blaster's cassette bots, Sky Lynx, Trypticon, etc). Plus, half the episodes in the second season of the original transformers were more poorly written than a Michael Bay movie (any episode starring Seaspray is a prime example). On top of that, you can't even spell beautiful right. Seriously, get some logic circuits or something.
