No explanation here of the actual so called real chords you hear on the radio. I IV V and relative minor chord of a key.. and the II chord as well. When is the last time you heard a song that followed every chord in a key in order ? And your ways of showing both a G chord and a Cadd9, are acceptable, but should never be a player's default way of playing them. Your so called muddy B note in the G chord is very desirable most of the time. No need to make 7 chords out of evry chord. D7 works.
