Your rat seemed like a great pet sorry for your loss. I had to get my albino girl marshy taken to the vet and put down the day before christmas because she had a tumor that we removed 2 times and came back again so we decided since she wasnt enjoying life to let her go out in peace. They are great pets! Again sorry for your loss of Mink

He looks exactly like my rat Nico who sadly died juso over a month ago. Mink was gorgeous. R.I.P Mink, little angel

I use to think of rats only as vermin, but after seeing so many cute rat vids, I think they are kind of cute

Actually, Mink was a "he". But thanks anyway. :-) And no, 1.5 years isn't very long, not even for a rat.

This is quite funny. We both have a rat named Chester and I was almost going to name one of my rats Mink but I named him Remy.
