I have a way shittier guitar and I was a lot better when I started. Here are some tips:

1. Put the guitar on your right knee

2. Sit straight

3.don't hold the pick like that. I see why u play like that. It's the way your right hand is placed

his first video of him getting the guitar... okay i just realised he's been playing for 1 year not two. his first video was posted in december 2007 and this is posted at the end of 2008 = 1 year.

if this was really after 1 hour, why would he wait a year to post it? also in his first vid he states that he doesnt have an amp. he has one here.

Try some palm muting on the strings that you dont fret down, so that the sustain of the note doesnt block out the fretted notes
