Awww....I had a black lab that was mixed with a collie, so he had a bit more fur than regular labs. I had him from when I was 3 until I turned 18. I loved that dog so much :' )

My black labrador is the size of a small lion, has paws like dinner plates, is completely fearless, and goes round everywhere with a little teddy in his mouth. They're just the perfect dogs.

best dogs ever! 1 bad thing about them though, i had a black lab last year and around the middle of July she got this weird disease where her hips like quit workin or somethin' and she had to scoot everywhere and she got so dehydrated and woudnt eat anything. this went on for about 4 days and she finally died in the middle of our basement. she was so loyal. her name was Taz

Labs are almost human I think. There seems to be no other dogs that are so loyal to their owners. Of course Goldens are right up there too................

CUTE! My Uncle just bought two black labs but I really don't think he should have got that breed cus he lives in an apartment... But some people say big dogs are actually okay with small spaces, lol I'm confused. Anyway, I can't wait to go overseas to visit them!!! =DDDDDDD<333333

Yeah some big dogs do well in apartments. Labs are one, they're very adaptable. But I wouldn't get one unless I had a nice big yard for it to run in. Look up Newfoundland, it's a dog the lab was bred from, and it's actually a GREAT apartment dog and WAY bigger than a lab. They're just mellow dogs.
