I find the captions strikingly similar to the texts found in the super glossy brochures that Camko produces, as I've seen and viewed them personally while living in Cambodia for 3 years. Additionally, the one page adverts that were once found in The Cambodia Daily uses identical words to describe the project: "New Town in Phnom Penh", etc. Call it coincidence, I guess :) PDP
Looks good but honestly, with the current economic slowdown, wheres the demand for these units? Who can afford them, well-to-do locals or highly paid expats? And why would expats come to Cambodia? There's hardly any industries well developed in Phnom Penh to require their level of expertise. 2015? More like it will be finished by 2020 or later, depending on the demand.

Looks good but honestly, with the current economic slowdown, wheres the demand for these units? Who can afford them, well-to-do locals or highly paid expats? And why would expats come to Cambodia? There's hardly any industries well developed in Phnom Penh to require their level of expertise. 2015? More like it will be finished by 2020 or later, depending on the demand.

No it hasn't! This project is currently still under construction, home buyers should be able to move into their home nexts month for Phase I of Camko City. The rest of the Phases are being delayed but will be completed. Refer to Phnom Penh Post for the latest developments on these projects.

I feel bad for the people the Gov't kicked out of their homes to make way for this project without any assistance program to help them move. It was just pure Authoritarian style order. It goes to show how much the Gov't doesn't care for its people. It's nice to see Cambodia advance, but don't be fooled by this facade from a corrupt Gov't as Cambodia getting better.
