Its a bit tricky however. As Particle Illusion doesnt support many file types

It must be a DivX compatible Avi file, if that makes sense lol.

how can i bring the "teleport" thingy to the timeline and the save it help?

The Teleport effect?

Just click on the effect at the right and then click on the main screen

You move the timeline marker along if you want the teleport to appear at a later time

To save to go.. Action -> save output.

Up the top left hand corner there is a little Grey box. Its quite annoying tho because particle illusion doesn't support many video types.. eg.. it doesn't work with WMV

Try to convert the video to AVI mpeg compatible if you want to include it in the particle illusion document

Im sorry but the effects are only for particle illusion they are pl3 files..

If you want effects for sony vegas i suggest you google the words ..

sony vegas effects plugin and hopefull you will find something

Yeh man sure, do you know the exact name of the effect that you want to use?

If not..it is possible to make this effect using flames, my favourite effect to do the dragon ball z is the "new flames 01" effect.

Ill might do a tutorial on it soon =]

also if you dont have the "new flames 01" effect you can go to my libarys, (see the description) and download it =]

Yeh sure..

save the video from particle illusion

(make sure that its not over 5 seconds long)

Just save it as a avi i think...

Now open adobe after effects?

Import it into after effects and then (without altering the video) save it as an animated gif.

If you do not have after effects you could also get

Animation Shop or Gif Construction Set

which are both programs specifically designed to create gif's.

Ok when you want to save your video

go..save if you want to edit it later..

OR if you want to save it as an AVI

you have to go to the "action" menu bar

then down to "save output" and

instead of "all supported types" go AVI
