awsome i see people take old lawn tractors and put back hose and front end loaders on them im guessing its all custom i don't think they make a kit for it hehehe
They do that quite a bit around here. Mine is basically just a tractor underneath but was designed and sold as a backhoe/loader. Actually these are too heavy for much farm and field work. They also don't have a lot of clearance underneath either.
I don't I'd push mine over 30 mph, I do have good brakes though...left inner tie rod end is a bit loose. They are a blast to do things with but as with everything else it gets a bit old if you do enough of it. Digging ponds kinda sucks after a couple days. When I first dug our pond after a day or so I ended up showing a buddy how to dig, he loved it. I was about sick of it. I've been digging out brush stumps and diamond willow most of today until it started raining. It gets old.
Actually it handles pretty good. It's a 8 speed and will do about 40 or so...not that I would really want to go that fast on that old thing. It starts out a little loosey goosey but gets better as you go a bit faster.
This reminds me of the time my brother flipped the backhoe on its side into our pond breaking the ice for the ducks. lol

As long as I don't get a dwi..(digging while intoxicated). Do they have that?
BobsAutoRepair 2 years ago
as long as your digging on your own property they should not be able to bug you with that crap lol

That's what I figure...and it is kind of hard to argue with a crazy German on a backhoe!
