@joseph4t when u pick a skull, sometime it gives u a effect like blind (u cannot see the raydar, number of bullet remaning on the screen or whatever) or other effects.... u can also attack whit it and a achevement come whit it. you dont die or it dosent end the level... thats all

i've heard that the 14th skull's only effect is that it messes up your customized levels, to where they are unplayable or they just aren't worth playing, and that you can't turn it off, the only way to get rid of it is to erase the profile, and start over. but there's a roomer that if you have all of the skulls and they are all turned on at the same time, and you beat the game on legendary, it gives you another bonus ending, not just the ending with master chief, but another one

If this answers everyones questions the Secret skulls name is "The Cortana Skull" it was part of the 7 skulls that would give u A bonus armor in the game (Not Recon) the armor was removed before release of the game because of too many graphical errors EX (if u were to put on the helmet of the armor any plate or arm pad your helmet would get mixed up with what ur wearing so u would wear 3 helmets instead of one) they left The Cortana skull because it would award you with a Splazer or a rocket

lol btw a easier/harder way to get the famine skull is to drive a chopper up the cliff that gamer used but go around more there will be a smaller rock behind a larger 1 launch yourself using the choppers boost and once u get on top. u need to time it right to get it then instead of grenade jumping balance the chopper wheel on the edge of the ramp close as you can get to the wall and then use a crouch Jump :D

wen u go out to field of where the wraiths are (the red ones that shoot fuel rod cannons) get a warthog and go to where the vid shows u, and use the warthog as a boost, but dont kill the wraiths be4 getting the skull. the skull will disappear if u kill the wraiths be4 getting the skull howevr u can kill the ghosts if u want and sometimes wen the skull wont automatically pick up, hold down both left and right bumpers. welcome (:

if you have the setting of difficulty to easy, you cannot find any of the skulls. That might be your problem. Also if you were playing co-op, that sometimes screws up the skulls places.

@cabezoncito09 okay, get ODST which includes the halo 3 multiplayer maps( a.k.a mythic maps or the full gaming experience) find all the skulls and get all the acheivments you can on that (mythic maps not odst) then get all the acheivements you can on halo 3 original, after that you sshould have over 1000 gamerscore for halo 3 but katan and security head only work on the extra disk in halo 3 ODST, this has worked for me and i have told a few how to do so. please reply if it works, it has for me.

get acheivements for halo 3 then buy halo 3 odst which includes the mythic maps and get the bonus acheivements for that also then after that you should have over 1000 gamerscore for halo 3 but remember. the katana and security armor only work only the bonus disk on halo 3 odst. This has been confirmed that it does work but i beleive that if you do this and get xbox live bungie will take it from you. Good Luck and happy gaming :)
