We find that the Quran does not contain the Shia doctrine of Imamah. The Shia believe that after the Prophet,saw, there were twelve Infallible Imams and that it was the fundamental of faith to follow them and adhere to them. Where then are these twelve Infallible Imams in the Quran? Can the Shia even provide one verse in the Quran which says something to the effect of “there will be twelve Infallible Imams after the Prophet Muhammad,saw, and you must follow them”?

not a single time is the word “Ahlel Bayt” used in the Quran for Ali (رضّى الله عنه), Fatima (رضّى الله عنها), Hasan (رضّى الله عنه), or Hussain (رضّى الله عنه). Nowhere does the Quran say “O cousin of the Prophet” but rather the Quran says “O wives of the Prophet.” If following the Ahlel Bayt is the fundamental of belief as the Shia Ayatollahs claim, then why is it that the Quran never once mentions Ali (رضّى الله عنه) let alone mentioning him as the Ahlel Bayt?
ii13.The testimony of three wives of the Prophet (Aisha, Umm Salama, and Safiyya) leaves us no room but to believe that the Ahlul-Bayt at the time of the Prophet were no more than five individuals: Prophet Muhammad, Lady Fatimah, Imam Ali, al-Hasan, and al-Husain (Peace be upon them all).
@mrAfgito ,There is in fact not a single verse in the Quran which identifies Ali (رضّى الله عنه), Fatima (رضّى الله عنها), Hasan (رضّى الله عنه), or Hussain as the Ahlel Bayt. Not a single verse in the Quran mentions the 12 Infallible Imams of the Shia, let alone calling them Ahlel Bayt. The term “Ahlel Bayt” has been used twice in the Quran, and both times it is used to refer to the wives. And a similar term, Ahli Baytin is used in the Quran to refer to the wife of Imran (mother of Moses).

As Muslims, we believe in the absolute authority of the Quran. in fact, it is the very speech of Allah. The Quran refers to the Prophet’s wives as the Ahlel Bayt. Allah Almighty Himself negates all those who dare argue that Aisha (رضّى الله عنها) and Hafsa (رضّى الله عنها) are not part of the Ahlel Bayt.
The Quran specifically refers to the wives of the Prophet as Ahlel Bayt in the following verse:

ii7. It is also worth mentioning that the Prophet (PBUH&HF) did NOT say: "These are among the Members of my House". He rather said: "These are THE Members of my House" since there was no other member of Ahlul-Bayt who was alive at the time of the Prophet (PBUH&HF). Also notice that Umm Salama (RA) who is the virtuous wife of the Prophet is the narrator of the tradition to his son and gives the testimony that who Ahlul-Bayt are.
ii6.As we see, al-Tirmidhi also confirms that Imam Ali, Fatimah, al-Hasan, and al-Husain are the Ahlul-Bayt, and the purification sentence in Quran (the last sentence of Verse 33:33) was revealed for the virtue of the above-mentioned individuals, and NOT for the wives of the Prophet (PBUH&HF). Also it is apparent from above authentic tradition that the Prophet himself excluded his wives from Ahlul-Bayt.

Muslim (the Author) did not put any other tradition in this section (section of the virtues of Ahlul-Bayt). If the author of Sahih Muslim believed that the wives of the Prophet were included in Ahlul-Bayt, he would have quoted some traditions about them in this section. It is interesting to see that Aisha, the wife of the Prophet (PBUH&HF) is the narrator of the above tradition, and she herself is testifying that Ahlul- Bayt are the above-mentioned individuals , continue.

ii1. The messenger of Allah (PBUH&HF) said: "I am leaving for you two precious and weighty Symbols that if you adhere to BOTH of them you shall not go astray after me. They are, the Book of Allah, and my progeny, that is my Ahlul-Bayt. The Merciful has informed me that These two shall not separate from each other till they come to me by the Pool (of Paradise)."
This is the danger in removing Sunnah from Qur'an, people make their own interpretations on the Qur'an. Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim have this verse in hadith and all Sunnis agree that this verse was revealed for Ali, Fatima, Hassan and Hussain. Whether the wives are included or not is debatable between Sunni and Shia. But every sect in Islam agrees that it was revealed for Ali, Fatima, Hassan and Hussain, if you deny that, you deny Sunnah of Prophet pbuh.

No other verse related to purifying has the word INAMA,,, this aayat (33:33) does.... n u can say INAMA means only or Verily or whatever i dont know its translation in arabic but it is a very important word used in QURAN for example in Aayat-e-wilayat (5:55) in Aayat-e-Hurmat-e-Sharaab (as i was told tha this word contains some very important ordr after them and this is what i have observed so far) so this purification in surely not like other verses of purifications....
and secondly in all the other verses some were related to wealth n one for Janabat that means a part which is purified if u accept their zakat this will purify their wealth, if u if u wash ur hand n massah etc...after janabat u will be purified... this has only one type of najasat in them... but in 33:33 the word AL-RIJS (AL is normally used in arabic to say all for e.g AL-HAMD, AL-REHMAN, AL-ILM) all impurities (this means everything impure in zahir or batin)

Shia are the darkness that arose when the light of Islam was extinguished in Kufa... I find it ammusing at the attempts to try and falsify shia islam but there are no attempts by the shia to falsify sunnni islam. The truth is always being scrutinised.
The word "Rijs" in the above verse has got the article "al-" at its beginning which makes the word universal.Thus "al-Rijs" means "EVERY KIND of impurity".Also at the end of the verse, Allah states "and purify you a PERFECT purification.The word "perfect" comes from the emphasis of "Tat'hiran"This is the only place in Quran that Allah uses the emphasis of "PERFECT purification". There are many sunni refferences that attribute the ahl ul bayt as excluding the wives.
It is not surprising that u all can't see what is written even thou u are reading it. Because Allah says very clearly that those ignorant will be blinded and severe punishment will be given. Aren't u all worried about the hatred of Allah?? U all read ur books but just can't accept ur own books makes u all look like fools. Do read and concider carefully.
I wish not to judge you all but as a matter of fact, I do wish to high-light to you regarding the infallibility of the family of the Prophet. U will find in Sahih Muslim, narrated by Bibi Aisha when the Prophet cover his daughter, Ali, hassan and Hussein when he recited this verse of purity. It is a fact, and i am sure no one can deny that. On top of that, Quran says that what ever the Prophet speaks is the revelation of Allah. Why can't u simply accept that??

@projectpaki Do you have doubts that the Ahlal Bayt is Purified by the thourough purification?? Regardless whether they are born infallible or not. But the objective of this prification has only been bestowed to the family of the Prophet and there is nothing you can do or deny about it. The only thing for you to do is to accept it and be a muslim or reject it, as u will be rejecting the Quran and you are nothing but a Kafir. Consider please.

Allah is telling the Ahl-ul Bayt that since they are important, they shld be pure, not that they are... if Allah did want the Ahl ul Bayt to be pure He would have said "Allah HAS MADE YOU PURE and spotless" not that He wants u to.

Not that I mean to use that word, the English language limits me here, but it says that Allah wants to forgive u for ur past sins, not make u unable to sin!! Finally, read surah 9, ayat 103 where it says "Take sadaqa from their wealth in order to PURIFY them" If u find 33:33 to purify the Ahl-ul Bayt, then this verse purifies those who acknowledge their sins. Now you tell me how this purify is different

The great Sunni commentator Al-Suyuti, quoting Sahih Al Tirmidhi, in Tafsir Al-Durr Al-Manthur, Vol.5 pages 605-606, under the commentary of this Verse, writes that then the Messenger of Allah said "Thus me and my Ahl-ul-Bait are clear from sins." This purity makes Ahl-ul-Bait fit for the honour of Imamat, to be Allah's Khalifas on Earth, promised only to those who, being pure, believe and do good actions as stated in Sura Noor, verse 55.
@projectpaki You have tried to translate the Quran, figure out each and every words of Quran, but then again, you have to relize that to describe each and every words of Quran, you need Hadiths to understands it. Do take Hadiths to understand what was written in Quran and when and why...Only Hadiths can explain to you all these.
@jimmyhlatun Akh, YOU are the one who is improperly translating... let me give u an example u speak of surah noor, verse 55. who is this verse directed to? you would say Ali (ra) or the Ahl ul-Bayt. The words used here are "those among you". If Allah (swt) wanted to speak to the Ahl ul Bayt he would have such as he has in 33:33 or in 33:32 where he says "oh wives of the Prophet", but He has directed it to gen-pop. He says "those among you who do good deeds", He is speaking to the Ummah!

@jimmyhlatun Also, if we go back to 33:33, u r right it does read "only" however there r conditions. Allah is asking for them to pray regularly, give charity, and obey the Messenger (pbuh), and then they will be cleansed. This purity does not come from birth, you must obey his command that he stipulates in this verse and then, and only then will the Ahl ul Bayt be cleansed i.e. be forgiven for their sins, not be born unable to sin. These are two different states.

You are quite learned among most that I have come across and I have been wishing that i should come across people like you and I am sure u have a better open minded then those who just swear and curse at Shiah's. Yes, Allah says "Allah "ONLY" wishes/desires to purify you with thourough/perfect purification" You have left out the word "ONLY"..That shows Allah's promise to Ahlal Bayt that they are cleansed from all impurities.
To answer your point that the Prophet (SAWW) and his family were not perfect, I begin by quoting the Holy Qur'an (53:2-4): "Your Companion (Muhammad (SAWW)) has not strayed, nor has he erred; Nor does he speak from his own inclination; It is not but a revelation revealed." This shows that the Prophet (SAWW) never commmitted any sins whatsoever and his actions were all directly from Allah (SWT). Secondly, with regards to his family (AS), the Prophet (SAWW) said:
Sheikh Sulayman Balkhi Hanafi in Yanabiul-Mawadda, ch.77 p.445 and Hamwaini in Fara'idu's-Simtain report that Ibn Abbas said: "I heard the Holy Prophet saying ' I and Ali, Hasan, Husain and nine of the descendants of Husain are completely pure and infallible.'"
This shows that the Prophet (SAWW) and his family were all infallible and sinless, and again, this goes with logic - would Allah (SWT) pick a sinner as the best of his messengers? Who would've believed him should this have been the case?

The Ahlel Bayt were never Shia, but rather were always part of the mainstream Islam. How could the Ahlel Bayt be Shia when Allah said in the Quran:
and be not amongst those who join gods with Allah, those who split up their Religion, and become shias (sects) - each party rejoicing in that which is with itself. (Quran, 30:31-32)
Whilst there is no doubt that the term Shi'a used in this verse means to split into Sects, that is indeed the literal meaning but no logical person can use this to concluded that this is the exclusive term for the Kuffar and Mushrikeen. If we are to apply this approach then we should point out to the Nasibi author that the word 'Deen' is also used for the Kaafirs in the same verse, so is the word Deen also unacceptable (God forbid)?
In the Quran the terms 'Ummat' and 'Millat' have also been used for past nations and for the nation of hell, does that mean that these terms are also not allowed for Muslims to use?
And by the way - to the author of this particular video - you are the biggest hypocrite I've ever seen or heard. You say that the Ahlul Bayt (AS) are not infallible (despite the fact that it's mentioned in the Qur'an), yet, according to the school of the ahlul sunnah, every Sahaba will go to heaven, no matter how much they sin or even if they KILL anyone (note: 30,000 sahaba killed each other after the Prophet (SAWW)). So now we find that ALL MUSLIMS were once upon a time called Shia. However, there were factions. So which shia were the ones that killed Imam Hussain (AS)? It was those same people that swore allegiance to Mu'awiyyah, and then to Yazid. And if you look in history, you'll find these particular group of people had a particular name: SHI'ATUL UTHMAN :) So yes, it was the shia's that killed Imam Hussain (AS). But they were the Shia's of Uthman, or as they are more commonly known today - Sunnis :)
So who actually killed Imam Hussain (AS)? Here's a quote that should clear up MuhammadAhmad's misconception that it was shias: "It should be known that the first Shias (who are the Sunnis and the Tafdiliyyah) in old days were known as Shias. salam. firstly in sahih musim it says in book 31 in hadith number 5955 that this ayah was revealed for Muhammad. Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Hussein,(may peace be upon all of them). secondly your wudhu is wronge because you sunnis wash your feet in wudhu but the quran clearly states to wipe your feet. in surah 5 verse 6.

And yet, Ali agreed to arbitration with Muawiyyah. The million-dollar question is: how could Ali agree to arbitration if it was a matter decreed by Allah?
How could Ali agree to negotiation on this matter if Allah Himself had chosen Ali to be this supposed “Infallible Imam”?

We find that the Quran does not contain the Shia doctrine of Imamah. The Shia believe that after the Prophet,saw, there were twelve Infallible Imams and that it was the fundamental of faith to follow them and adhere to them. Where then are these twelve Infallible Imams in the Quran? Can the Shia even provide one verse in the Quran which says something to the effect of “there will be twelve Infallible Imams after the Prophet Muhammad,saw, and you must follow them”?

not a single time is the word “Ahlel Bayt” used in the Quran for Ali (رضّى الله عنه), Fatima (رضّى الله عنها), Hasan (رضّى الله عنه), or Hussain (رضّى الله عنه). Nowhere does the Quran say “O cousin of the Prophet” but rather the Quran says “O wives of the Prophet.” If following the Ahlel Bayt is the fundamental of belief as the Shia Ayatollahs claim, then why is it that the Quran never once mentions Ali (رضّى الله عنه) let alone mentioning him as the Ahlel Bayt?

Not a single verse in the Quran mentions the 12 Infallible Imams of the Shia, let alone calling them Ahlel Bayt. The term “Ahlel Bayt” has been used twice in the Quran, and both times it is used to refer to the wives. And a similar term, Ahli Baytin is used in the Quran to refer to the wife of Imran (mother of Moses).

Also notice that Umm Salama (RA) who is the virtuous wife of the Prophet is the narrator of the tradition to his son and gives the testimony that who Ahlul-Bayt are.

This is the danger in removing Sunnah from Qur'an, people make their own interpretations on the Qur'an. Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim have this verse in hadith and all Sunnis agree that this verse was revealed for Ali, Fatima, Hassan and Hussain. Whether the wives are included or not is debatable between Sunni and Shia. But every sect in Islam agrees that it was revealed for Ali, Fatima, Hassan and Hussain, if you deny that, you deny Sunnah of Prophet pbuh.

No other verse related to purifying has the word INAMA,,, this aayat (33:33) does.... n u can say INAMA means only or Verily or whatever i dont know its translation in arabic but it is a very important word used in QURAN for example in Aayat-e-wilayat (5:55) in Aayat-e-Hurmat-e-Sharaab (as i was told tha this word contains some very important ordr after them and this is what i have observed so far) so this purification in surely not like other verses of purifications....

and secondly in all the other verses some were related to wealth n one for Janabat that means a part which is purified if u accept their zakat this will purify their wealth, if u if u wash ur hand n massah etc...after janabat u will be purified... this has only one type of najasat in them... but in 33:33 the word AL-RIJS (AL is normally used in arabic to say all for e.g AL-HAMD, AL-REHMAN, AL-ILM) all impurities (this means everything impure in zahir or batin)

The word "Rijs" in the above verse has got the article "al-" at its beginning which makes the word universal.Thus "al-Rijs" means "EVERY KIND of impurity".Also at the end of the verse, Allah states "and purify you a PERFECT purification.The word "perfect" comes from the emphasis of "Tat'hiran"This is the only place in Quran that Allah uses the emphasis of "PERFECT purification". There are many sunni refferences that attribute the ahl ul bayt as excluding the wives.

I wish not to judge you all but as a matter of fact, I do wish to high-light to you regarding the infallibility of the family of the Prophet. U will find in Sahih Muslim, narrated by Bibi Aisha when the Prophet cover his daughter, Ali, hassan and Hussein when he recited this verse of purity. It is a fact, and i am sure no one can deny that. On top of that, Quran says that what ever the Prophet speaks is the revelation of Allah. Why can't u simply accept that??

The great Sunni commentator Al-Suyuti, quoting Sahih Al Tirmidhi, in Tafsir Al-Durr Al-Manthur, Vol.5 pages 605-606, under the commentary of this Verse, writes that then the Messenger of Allah said "Thus me and my Ahl-ul-Bait are clear from sins." This purity makes Ahl-ul-Bait fit for the honour of Imamat, to be Allah's Khalifas on Earth, promised only to those who, being pure, believe and do good actions as stated in Sura Noor, verse 55.

@jimmyhlatun Akh, YOU are the one who is improperly translating... let me give u an example u speak of surah noor, verse 55. who is this verse directed to? you would say Ali (ra) or the Ahl ul-Bayt. The words used here are "those among you". If Allah (swt) wanted to speak to the Ahl ul Bayt he would have such as he has in 33:33 or in 33:32 where he says "oh wives of the Prophet", but He has directed it to gen-pop. He says "those among you who do good deeds", He is speaking to the Ummah!

@jimmyhlatun Also, if we go back to 33:33, u r right it does read "only" however there r conditions. Allah is asking for them to pray regularly, give charity, and obey the Messenger (pbuh), and then they will be cleansed. This purity does not come from birth, you must obey his command that he stipulates in this verse and then, and only then will the Ahl ul Bayt be cleansed i.e. be forgiven for their sins, not be born unable to sin. These are two different states.

To answer your point that the Prophet (SAWW) and his family were not perfect, I begin by quoting the Holy Qur'an (53:2-4): "Your Companion (Muhammad (SAWW)) has not strayed, nor has he erred; Nor does he speak from his own inclination; It is not but a revelation revealed." Sheikh Sulayman Balkhi Hanafi in Yanabiul-Mawadda, ch.77 p.445 and Hamwaini in Fara'idu's-Simtain report that Ibn Abbas said: "I heard the Holy Prophet saying ' I and Ali, Hasan, Husain and nine of the descendants of Husain are completely pure and infallible.'"
This shows that the Prophet (SAWW) and his family were all infallible and sinless, and again, this goes with logic - would Allah (SWT) pick a sinner as the best of his messengers? Who would've believed him should this have been the case?

The Ahlel Bayt were never Shia, but rather were always part of the mainstream Islam. How could the Ahlel Bayt be Shia when Allah said in the Quran:

Whilst there is no doubt that the term Shi'a used in this verse means to split into Sects, that is indeed the literal meaning but no logical person can use this to concluded that this is the exclusive term for the Kuffar and Mushrikeen. If we are to apply this approach then we should point out to the Nasibi author that the word 'Deen' is also used for the Kaafirs in the same verse, so is the word Deen also unacceptable (God forbid)?

So now we find that ALL MUSLIMS were once upon a time called Shia. However, there were factions. So which shia were the ones that killed Imam Hussain (AS)? It was those same people that swore allegiance to Mu'awiyyah, and then to Yazid. And if you look in history, you'll find these particular group of people had a particular name: SHI'ATUL UTHMAN :) So yes, it was the shia's that killed Imam Hussain (AS). But they were the Shia's of Uthman, or as they are more commonly known today - Sunnis :)

The reality is amongst those leading figures that led the calls for the Imam (as) to join them in Kufa WERE Sahaba such as Sulayman bin Surad and Mussayab bin Najabah (see History of Tabari English translation Volume 19, page 24) and Tabieen.Sulayman bin Surad was a Sahabi of Rasulullah (s), not only that he was an individual from whom hadith have been narrated on his authority in the SAHAH SITTAH OF AHLU SUNNAH. Sahih Muslim and Jamul-Usul say that Ibn Samra asked Zaid Ibn Arqam whether the wives of the Holy Prophet were included in his Ahle Bait. Zaid said: "By Allah no. A wife remains with her husband for a certain period but when he divorces her she goes to her fathers home, joins her mothers family and is completely cut off from her husband. Be very very careful when misquoting and translating Qur'an, for Allah (SWT) said that even if the Prophet (SAWW) had mis-quoted the revelations, Allah (SWT) would have cut off his aorta (69:44-46)

It is in actuality "Allah only desires to KEEP AWAY from you al-rijs." The Arabic says "ankum al-rijs", not "minkum al-rijs", and 'ankum' denotes a continual and unbroken purification. al-Rijs means ALL IMPURITIES. It is not a specific impurity, but refers to them all. For example, missing Salaah is impure, lying is impure, and basically sinning in general is an impurity.

Quran 33 v30-31-32-33 are about the wives, Allah in the begining of 33.33 commands to the wives to stay in the BUYUT (plural of Bayt=House) and then Allah ends the verse with the term AhlulBayt, People of the House... so surely, the wives who are in the houses are ALSO from people of the house of the prophet, so Aisha, Hafsa ...

salam. firstly in sahih musim it says in book 31 in hadith number 5955 that this ayah was revealed for Muhammad. Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Hussein,(may peace be upon all of them). secondly your wudhu is wronge because you sunnis wash your feet in wudhu but the quran clearly states to wipe your feet. in surah 5 verse 6.

There are different degrees of Purification. The ONLY place that Allah said I intend to do a PERFECT purification is in verse 33:33 where He is addressing the Ahlul-Bayt. The word "PERFECT" comes from the emphasis of Allah by "Tat'hiran" which has been used ONLY in verse 33:33. This emphatical word occur in any other place in Quran. Do you see the difference brother?

Why Prophets are asking guidance and forgiveness to Almighty Allah if they did not commit mistakes? That's very very simple questions? It means they are liable to commit a mistakes at anytime at anyplace. BECAUSE THE ONLY PERFECT IS THE ALMIGHTY ALLAH! NO ONE ELSE!

I beleive the prophets asked for forgiveness because they feared Allah so much, as simple as that...even when they did not commit mistakes.

These verse something an agreement between the Ahlulbayt which Allah ta'allah givin to them. If they will follow his commandment and the Prophet? they will be PURE and SPOTLESS it doesn't mean they are PERFECT and they cannot commit mistakes... analyze the verse and try to understand its meaning and implication.

You are so limited in your thinking, the prophet always use to ask allah to forgive his sins due ot his humility, by not asking to forgive his sins he would appear arrogant, can you not even think so much ? Irrespective....why do you care abt the shais so much, if you think they are wrong..leave them alone, if you are so sure you will go to heaven and Shias to hell what does it matter, but NO, you have to make a youtube video about it ? why can not Sunna just pretend that there is no Shia and just let all Muslims live in peace.we will all to reach heaven in the after life.but if the more we peck at each other and declare war against each other,,so we find ourselves further and further away from heaven thinking we are doing the right thing.a Muslim is anyone who believes that God is one and Mohammed is his masenger.kill a Muslim or make someone else kills a Muslim,is by far the largest sin.

hah,u have some objections about killing muslims,well so do i ,but as u see,"shia" religion is NOT,i repeat NOT, consideed within boundaries of "GLORIOUS RELIGION OF ISLAM" as far as i know ,their "religious text",has got 40 parts,n weve just got 30,and in our "original" and "complete" quran,i didnt see any mention about the succession of imams ,just be str8 n say that uve got a a shia friend n u feel that division is unfair!haha n later,do some research before talking diplomatic stuff!hahaha
