Although you're comparing apples to oranges with this statement, the definition of slavery has not changed. Scientific definitions do not change. Hypothesis & theories do. Within society, customs change. But, it can be easily argued that it's unjust to challenge marriage as being a union of a man & woman. There's nothing wrong with defining a civil union as a same-sex marriage. See, "marriage" is in the definition and such unions would (& should) come with all the same benefits.

In reality there was no history of sectarian conflict in Iraq. Many sects were able to mingle and intermarry, the trouble started when Saddam started to favor Sunnis over Shias, so the conflict over sunni and Shia in Iraq is polictal not religious. Sorry Obamaniacs.

What does Obama know about Iraq? He's buried his face in books all his life and fed lies to his voters. 1:10, Obama has made a very "effective" use of our military by sending 30,000 more troops to Iraq.
1. The Iraqi war was a very easy war. We annihilated the Iraqi army in 2 weeks when we fucked the shit out of Baghdad. We are not in Iraq now for the same reasons that we were in Iraq for in 2003.

There's nothing wrong with defining a civil union as a same-sex marriage. See, "marriage" is in the definition and such unions would (& should) come with all the same benefits.

As for the Obama / Wright thing, I would not listen to, support or defend someone who could spew such hatred - especially for 20+ years. I do not attend church service because my views differ with those of the church. Put simply, I'm an Atheist. And, I either choose to listen (in church) or not. Because my views differ, I choose not. But the problem is choice. Obama chose to stay and listen even though his words say he disagreed. However, his actions say he didn't. And, Wright wasn't all!

Ok, but Obama has never defended what Rev Wright said. Nor has he supported it. And I keep saying he heard what Wright was saying and doesn't agree with it, where as you repeat your last statement. It wasn't until Obama began taking political heat from his assoc with Rev Wright that he denounced him. Before that, Obama said he didn't find his church "particularly controversial". He also said Rev Wright was like an Uncle and he could never disown him. Also, Wright isn't the only anti-American he has ties with. Lastly, Obama did support much of Wright said in his book: Dreams from my Father.
