Greyback never scared me in the books, because i coudnt imagine how it would look if he actually ate someone. But shall we just forget this matter? @xPaandaskys Type harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2 courtyard scene, click on the second vid. The quality isnt very well but if your "eyesight is right" you can make out once they run away from the big spiders they end up in one of the side halls, while they run away from a second giant they see Greyback and Lavender at the end of the hall. Hermoine shoots him away. thats all you need. now watch it.

I checked it, there is a clip on youtube where the battle scene if fully showed and you can see once they reach the other side of the courtyard Greyback is eating Lavender. and Proffesor Trewalny does that in the book, not in the movie and she doesnt kill him.

@xPaandaskys your a idiot, Harry Ron and Hermoine tried to get to the other side of the courtyard. They ran into Fenrir Greyback who was lurking above Lavender, he supossly defeated her in battle and was trying to eat er. In fact he already took a nasty bite out of her neck from which she dies later on.

She didnt eve die in the book :( It was really shocking to see her lifeless body just lying there and him defiling the poor by mauling at her face. If I was Hermione I would have done a lot worse time him....really sent a shiver down my back. One of the stand out moments for me...

But EVEN THE, if you're in a war, the final battle between good and evil - and there's someone there you went to school with for 6 years, you dont wanna see them dead, let alone die in such a horrific manner - so, in the book, Hermione saved her, and in the film she shot him of the ledge down the cliffs

Very powerful wizards and witches have been know to be muggle-born like harry's mum, Lilly. Even Voldermort, was a half-blood, as his dad was a muggle!!

this is the most horrifing scene in the whole movie, you see lavender lying dead on the ground with Greyback eating her flesh, you can actually see her blood on his face and her theeth.. i actually felt sorry for Lavender

a pitty the latest harry potter games suck. the first three were the best in my opinion. the pc-version was quite alright, but the console version had better graphics and gameplay. if you want to play a good game, go buy a wii/gamecube, ps2 or xbox (or pc ofcourse) and play one of the first three games!
