you were very close.. you might want to take a push pin ( things you put on a bulletin board) and make it easy to get in and out.. then take a sewing pin with the round top and put it in..(if you do this don't twist the ball on the top around) you can also put in earrings

When i pierced my dolls ear that i got rid of (stupid choice) i used a thumbtack and i pushed it in and then took it out and put in another earing and i could change the earing with no problem at all but this is also a good way =) :) :D

@artsandcrafts4ever Yes you can change them for as long as you want although you might have to try and get them out with tweezers because they are fairly stuck so they don't fall out.
