Beijing had to deploy planes to create artificial rainfalls outside the city to make sure it doesn't rain during the ceremony. As it turns out, it didn't rain did it? Now, are you gonna criticize them for "faking a good weather" too? Cuz I very much enjoyed the rainless ceremony, and I'm sure those audience on site did too.

They used animated fireworks because real ones would pose a threat to the helicopters/cameras capturing them. Be happy that they had the sense to protect the media. Actually, there's no controversy about the fireworks at all.
Even the American commentary on NBC explained that THE PARTICULAR VIEW (from helicopter height) was computer graphics.
I've seen several digicam videos of normal people ACTUALLY THERE and the fireworks were just as they portrayed it on NBC anyways.
So, nothing shocking, no controversy.
If American media really wanted answers, they would have gotten them. But instead they got more "ratings" for making up a controversy.

See, I flew into Beijing Airport that night of the opening ceremony around 4pm from O'hare, and flew out to Shenyang around 6, and it was RAINING at the airport! Beijing had to deploy planes to create artificial rainfalls outside the city to make sure it doesn't rain during the ceremony. As it turns out, it didn't rain did it? Now, are you gonna criticize them for "faking a good weather" too? Cuz I very much enjoyed the rainless ceremony, and I'm sure those audience on site did too.

The little girl who really sang was denied the stage because though with an amazing voice, she wasn't "cute" enough (though I thought she was adorable). It shouldn't matter what we look like. The real girl has real exponential talent and who's to deny her of getting credit for it?

aw this sucks,i dont think the chinese gov. should do all these fake stuff for the olympics ceremony already owned the eyes of the beholders in the very begining, i just realized that sometimes most of the chinese take everything for granted,they nevr think before act, but always act without consciousness, they would rather forsake reason and purpose than to lose their fame and pride, i really hope that they could change their actions if not.then only misery and destruction will hit the country.

It's not Communist by definition anymore (even though it hasn't been for the past 30 years but the western world doesn't know that). Anyhow, who cares if the fireworks were fake? The sounds from the instruments at Obama's Inauguration was instrument (?) synced. But no one cares-it was a great show.

It's exactly what EVERYBODY has been saying and the reason why China was given the privilege to host the summer Olympics. You're right, ignorance IS as its fullest-through you. Canada could be called Capitalist but we all know it's not. And I'm not from China... Stop misconstruing my comments. I was talking about the fireworks. China is a country that undervalues their currency so much to get cheapest labor possible. They oppress the public (great firewall of China, torturing and killing protesters and completely controlling the media), and has an official order that members of the communist party must be atheist. Sounds totally like a free state!
Sure there is some mix of capitalism here and there, but the government controls everything and that's the principle of communism....

China has the biggest surplus of cash in the world. Yep, that's right. the Government of China has more money than any other country. Yet why is the Yen so low in value and why are their wages so low?
Chinese government likes the money it gets so it refuses to let the cash flow freely because they do not want their currency to rise, thus ruining cheap exports.
Totally capitalistic, don't you agree?
Where government controls all the cash flow and the common people starve. Free-state of China!

Korean joined the International Organisation for Standardisation in condom sizes and uses the same size condoms as the west, (this occured on Oct 8, 2007 in Southern resort island of Jeju in a 5 day organized talk between 50 nations that meets the International size).

Oh, and only 50 countries? Are you aware of how many countries there are out there? Hmm... That's something to think about. And how many countries are in Asia? Well I don't know, there MUST be a whole lot of other nations on other continents so that only 50 nations meet the standard size. That means yes, even some Caucasians, Africans, and Latinos don't meet the international size. That being said, not all Asians have "4 inch dicks". Some do. But then again, so does everybody else.
