toughest season, in many ways. great players. great characters. good winner, great challenges, great setting. all the makings of a classic season. rewatch reconfirmed that it's one of the best. edgic, probst and dalton don't think much of it, it seems.

only quibbles: the precedent continued for returning players; introduction of hidden immunity idol, although this was the best way to implement it; a few ignored early boots.

Maybe a dumb question, but if someone has the immunity idol and is voted out without using it, what happens to the idol? Please don't cite any future occurrences in the series, because I'm planning on watching them all and have only gotten this far.

@dav15351 Usually the idol gets hidden again. There has been a couple of exceptions.

Jeff did a good job on this reunion show; he didn't waste time so everybody got to talk and he didn't have to rush at the end. So much better than Nicaragua's reunion.

Brian gave a great answer! He really did get screwed over by being put on the minority tribe; had it not been for that, I seriously think he would've made it all the way to the end. Love him and Amy! =)

after watching this season for the first time i think that this goes down as a very underrated season. after a slow start there were some great blindsides and a surprise winner (not that she beat stephanie in the finals but that she somehow got to the finals).

Yea i agree, jeff is a good host. He seems to ask all the right questions. He is either very perceptive, or cbs staff drill him before every tribal council on the going ons at camp.

I used to think he was hot..but he has gotten old.
