what does it mean when you say "Fly heading a 355" I dont really know all the cockpit controlls

That means that you need to be flying at a bearing of 355 degrees (That's 355 degrees clockwise from North, or 5 degrees anticlockwise from North.

On your GPS system your heading will be shown on a digital circular dial on a square screen, your heading is the number on the dial in which the small aeroplane at the bottom of the screen in pointing towards. You will need to get the plane on the screen to point between the numbers 35 and 0 go get it to 'fly heading 355'
