Most people criticize this movie for stupidly using the Basketball thing. But think about it, whenever Bugs gets into a jam, he always proposes some hare-brained scheme to get out of it; something that comes completely out of nowhere and is very random. So naturally, challenging a group of aliens to a Basketball Game seems like the very thing that the Looney Tunes would do.

if it was made in 2011 than definetly it would center more on the main plot and the Jabba the Hutt , creatures scenes would be totally re written tor even deleted as these made the movie less serious today, while back in the 80's the scenes were a neccessetity even a form of fanservice actually
