yep! I usually make spiced nuts with almond, I personally prefer it. But I've also made it with cashews, walnuts, and even brazil nuts! Don't be afraid to play around with the spices though.
oh yeah I thought i should mention I don't agree with the adding water part, what I do is toast up the nuts until golden. Then I would take the sugar and spices and melt in my pan, kill the heat and then stir in the nuts. It coats better =)
