I think another reason Carrie Ann might not seeing the connection to the music is because of the missed cue. Although I'm sure she would have had the same thing regardless of whether or not they started correctly.

Their dance didn't go with the song because it's not a salsa song! It's more of a reggaeton and you could possibly samba to it, but you'd never hear anything at all like this at a salsa club. Loved it anyway, though! :-)

They did an amazing job considering it was an instant dance, and way way better than most of the others! Carrie Ann needs a monitor with instant replay from a different angle obviously! They had maybe 30 minutes to learn and polish this?! Three 10s would have been appropriate and fair considering how the others performed and scored.
