I have found an alternative solution to Killcopy that I think I like a little better. It's called Teracopy and it does pretty much what Killcopy does, but it replaces the windows built in copy/paste feature with its own so all you have to do is your usual copy and paste and it does the copy for you. Both are good options at this point. I wished I could alter this problem natively, but at least there's a workaround. Another thing I'd like to fix is that lacking volume mixer.
I haven't exactly solved it, but I just installed win7 on my better laptop just yesterday and got a chance to try it again with the killcopy suggestion from velocity37.
I would have liked to see some way to correct this natively, but killcopy lets you right click and select 'Killcopy to..." and select the destination which then lets you use the killcopy interface and overwrite the files without any issue. Pretty nice I have to admit.
@quer94 Not to my knowledge. I have tested this theory with fewer files and it seems to work just as it would in, say, Windows XP. In other words replacing old with new and adding the 'not already existing' files.
You should not lose any data at all during the transfer, but if you feel uncomfortable with it, just run a full scandisk and that should rule out any problems you might have if there were to be any. I doubt you should have any trouble with it, though.
Don't know if you care about this anymore, but I think KillCopy will do the trick. Just say yes to all when it asks you to overwrite files. It should overwrite the old ones, and copy over the new files.
It's a damn handy app if you're transferring large amounts of files overnight too, since it won't stop the copy operation to prompt you about moving "system files" (thumbnails, ugh) or read-only files.

I have this problem when i try to copy a crack into game folder , then it says : THERE NOT ENOUGH SPACE TO COPY . (*Its just pissing me off*)

@AndyAKratz Nice, i want to move a 2 gig file, and there's 300 gig left.. it simply can't! but can i loose any data with that program?
