Oh, you can't control Death! I'm pretty sure that this is what you did: You went into Create a Sim and did the cheat Shift+N (Debugging Mode) and made your alien, then you went back to everyday outfits and clicked on the grim reaper without the hula necklace on. The end. Am I right or am I right?

First: If you add the grim reaper to your family (I wonder how I dunno; I just know that it's possible) He looses his "job" .So it's like if you marry a maid, but still want one, who does all the work, you get an other maid. there always more NPC than one.
