Even if it works you should change the plan since regular internet is 6$ per month with T-Mobile, which will save you 14$ per month from the sidekick plan. This will not require a new contract, so there is no reason not to save money.

Yes Sham it is one click and all you need is to put the SIM card in the phone once you use the software. To use a data plan you simply go to the EDGE settings and type in the user name and password for your data plan.

It will only work with all currently available firmwares. These are all versions from 1.0.0 to 1.1.4. When firmware 2.0 is released everyone will have to figure out how to unlock it all over again. Wait to update until the new unlock is available. Of the thousands of phones unlocked this way none have been damaged, and since it is a software unlock you can fix anything it does and remove it by using the Restore button in iTunes.
