@E4J4R On newer DSLR cameras there is a miniature effect. In conjunction with the miniature effect they used whats called a Tilt-Shift lens.

@lin2log The saturation works well in this context. It gives the video a more cartoonish, fantastical, and warmer feel. It works well with the tilt-shift miniature effect, making everything seem more toy-like. It doesn't matter if the effect was done mechanically or digitally, as long as it expresses what it intended. This video isn't some technical or even artistic piece to be dissected, it's meant to be fun and enjoyable. And it does that very well from the audience's response.

Tilt Shift photography uses a special adapter on the lens of the camera that allows light to hit sensor slightly off kilter. When the light plane is shifted like that it can make the image look like it was shot through a macro lens making everything look like a miniature. The same effect can be accomplished in Photoshop with the right plug-in.

@thatonegirludontknow I don't know that much about it myself, but I do know it's a special sort of camera lens. It tilts the focus of the camera, such that everything small appears to be a little figurine - if you do it from high up enough, it gives you that model village effect. You can actually buy the lens to do it yourself, if you have a DSLR camera. It's a bit pricey but within a normal person's grasp, you don't have to be a mega-company to afford one.

@AdrenalineAddict610 when i went to WDW in 2008, it didn't take our photo's and I haven't been to Anaheim for so long so I don't know. Maybe they have recently installed on ride photo's.

Also, you don't get the thrill of sitting next to someone on the ride, unlike at Disneyland Paris, where you can.

You Americans who have been saying things about the colour of the water, etc. You should know that Disneyland Paris has had a rough time during its history, ever since opening day, when French protestors tried to cut off the power during the live telecast. In 1994 Disneyland Paris almost went bankrupt, because of low visitor numbers. The low visitor number problem still exists today, with a lack of guests for WDS. They are in billions of $ of debt, but they are improving, things are changing!

You also know that the French are different to Americans, they are miserable, so it has been hard to have the Cast Members smile and feel passionate about what they are doing. But, younger CM's are being employed and they love what they do. Things are changing and getting better, so please go to Disneyland Paris!

Disneyland paris pro tip if your going to Disneyland paris you can spend The night at a camping/trailer park at cresi la chappelle its fairly cheap good hygene toilets electricity everywhere 10min car ride to Disneyland and best of all you can buy tickets at the reception for the normal price and theres even à bus that Goes to Disney at about 9:30 and it comes back after the park closes :D
