hi 7archers. Since its been two years since the video i was wondering if you still have sarcoidosis? I also have it. Also i was wondering if the idea of saunas to help with th breathing and if you tried it?
@elcocodriloazul Thanks for asking. right Now I am in remission. Been for almost a year now. I couldn't see how using a sauna would hurt. I haven't tried it. But I would say give it a try. The biggest thing is watch the diet and exercise, get good rest. also watch for stress levels. I found out recently that stress can also aggravate it.
@7archers Very good and i hope it stays that way. Many thanks for all the tips. Yeah stress for me is an issue. Here i begin with the diet. I will give you an update in a few months. Good luck.
Hi found your video vary compelling . I will Certainly be looking at the sugar levels and water hardness. but while i was looking for u tube videos i came accross this gentleman who was talking about the auto immune system. and after all sarcoidosis is to do with the immune system take a look
Hi, it's Sharon again. Don't mean to pester you, but a friend from one of my Facebook groups just put up a YouTube video "How Ph Water Saved My Life." would you mind viewing it and giving me your thoughts? It concerns an in home water system. Thank you kindly. Sharon
@SharonLauger I'll check it out. I did have a friend who wanted to sell me a machine that alkalized water. It sounded good and the water was amazing. I can't remember the name of the machine. The down side to it was it was very expensive, about $5,000.00. But the water was good. Or so it seemed to me at the time. I will check it out and let you know.
It sucks about the book. Dunno if you've seen the advert on the internet that there's a book to cure cancer. You don't get ANY information on what this fantastic cure is. I wouldn't touch the ad with a bargepole! As for the hard water, I said to my Mum once that the hard water we have where I live must surely contribute to hardening of the arteries, (arteriosclerosis)! I wouldn't be surprised.
@ChristLikeness100 Yeah. I was disappointed about the book. But we have to be careful what is out there. I agree with you also about the hard water. We put so many chemicals in the water to help it be pure and free from bacteria and viruses yet not realizing how the chemicals can hurt us in other ways.
thank you! very good video! i have been diagnosed with pneumonitis and am going to get blood work next week to check for sarcoidosis. i just happend to read about sarciodosis randomly and remembered i had had high calcium levels twice a month before the pneumonitis diagnosis and the tip of my big toe is also red and painful, along with face eczema, diffuse hair loss, and laryngitis. also does anyone know how much they can tell by a blood test? thanks again 7archers and everyone else, good luck!
Cont. I'm on a tapering dose of they eye drops too. The Uveitis has cleared up nicely but the vision in my effected eye is a bit diminised. The Doc said this condition can flare up from time to time, mainly triggered by stress. I have now reached rock bottom with my disgusting weight gain, and plan to back on a Vegan diet where I lost weight and felt wonderful. I hope my story will help others, and thank YOU again for your inspiring video story.
Cont- I also couldn't sleep. I would fall asleep at 10pm the wake up at 4AM. I REALLY loved it. The reason being, I was always a depressed person, and the Pred. made me a new person and I loved being that way. The down part, I was hungrey all the time and gained all the weight and am now a SLUG. The high feeling lasted only 2-3 months. Now my Pred, dose is 5mg every other day. My labs are ALL normal. I DID develope Uveitis 2 weeks ago and am taking Prednisone eye drops. It has cleared up.--->
Cont-everthing under the sun, mainly to rule out Cancer. In the ER my kidney function tests were very high and they said I had Acute Renal Failure. It was shocking. Well after 2 weeks in the hospital, I was started on 60mg of Prednsone everyday with a slow taper. Unfortunately I 50lbs on the Pred, got a "moonface" and a buffalo hump. At first my mood was very high, on 60 mg of Pred. I was like a busy bee. I LOVED the feeling. I got so much work done around the house, I couldn't sit still.-->>
You're very kind to have made this very educational video. I was diagnosed with Saecoid of the Kidney's in 5/10. The strange thing is and I'm sorry to say that it contradicts what you were saying about diet. When I was diagnosed I had been a "RAW VEGAN" for about a year. Before getting ill, I had felt the best I EVER felt due to my raw vegan diet. My mind was very clear, I wasn't tired, I even lost 45lbs. I think it was a coinsidence that I happen to get Sarcoid at that time. I was tested for ->
@Jenny195 How are you dong now? One of my goals was for all of us with this stinking disease is to give information that will help each other. One had responded that along with an alkaline diet, we need to also need to adjust that diet according to our blood type. There was a doctor who talked about this. If I can find his name I will try to get it to you. I am doing really fine now. It looks like the disease is in remission for me. But you never know about this disease. Blessings

@succulentesculent Sarcoidosis is a strange disease. Right now it appears that I am doing much better. I am interested in what you he to say about pappya and such.
@7archers may we've consistency, & such isn't just thru fruitiness mentioned likely tho figured @ research on sources of fat soluble compounds found to rebalance some this overall degrade for upgrade! amounts aren't exclusive to examples since other urges're found elsewhere as banana potassium well avocado's higher. so ripe variety's a gain. what i brought up pertains releasable content needed even from bile. which targets immune system too as weight bearing exercise o more than common strength~
@succulentesculent I am having a hard time following what you are saying. Are you saying fat soluble foods upgrade your condition? Ripe foods are a gain for you? Banana's and Avocado help with the immune system? It makes sense, seing they are very alkali foods. What are you saying about weight bearing exercises? Of course I think they could be very helpful.
@7archers ok i retry; word limit's no discussion lingo! nature's steroid need underscored as fat soluble stuff. i gave research's resources but twined how cultivated traits overlap, ie if potassium's concern it's past hyped produce thus steroids're bound found beyond random data piece & i found more but forgot yet trust stretch ripe assortment sorts thru. re ban/avo to sarc, yes btw thyroid/alkaline go all gears in long. wt exercise i heard in video i related its half helps liver move body duty
good information. the only thing i would add is that the alkali/acidic foods are also dependient on blood types. what is alkali for one may be acidic for another. also you mentioned water quality. i think the doc is right. water sanitation quality seems to have really gone down. here in salem we have people in the hospital for "city water". i buy mine from the store for drinking.
First of all Thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas on Sarcoidosis! Ive really enjoyed the posative way go are dealing with it.
I was diagnosed in 2001 in the UK , they put me on prednisone and I balloooned and went psycho-ish , also my eyes blurred and I couldnt wait to come off!
Im on azathioprine and 10mg of pred and im still struggling with coughing and breathing. I was so desperate when the doc told me no cure, i stated to read Trevor marshall who insists sarcoidosis is baterial.
I'm 30, and I've been diagnostic with sarcoidosis in 2007.Drastic weight loss, loss of appetite, eye uveitis was some of the symptoms that put me in alert. After several exams, the doctors didn't had 100% sure about the disease so, i had to make a lung biopsy.I've started with Corticosteroid treatment and I swell and had some kind of allergic reaction which provoked bubles like Acne. I'm feeling strange now and because i don't want to make that treatment again, i'll try your food suggestions.
thanks for the vid very interesing indeed im going to try that out im a sucker for sugary foods and drinks - lucozade and energy drinks i wonder if they are partly to blame in all of this?? thanks again and good luck
Thanks for responding. I know sugars are hard but there is one sweetener you can try. Stay away from the sugar substitutes like splenda and such, they are worse than sugar. Try Stevia. It used to be expensive but has come down in price. It is an natural herb, and sweeter than sugar. Energy drinks, be careful, they have good electolytes but are heavy in sugar.
If you decide to go alkalie, give it a month or two and I think you may notice a difference.
im male 31 from uk and i do get frustrated with my doctors/specialist as they seem that they dont know anything about this disease. im on pred at the moment and a anti depressent to help my mucles relax and help me to sleep at night. I also enjoy fishing and find it hard rock climbing to these fishing marks and find myself limited to easy to get places like breakwaters and piers which is pants...
I know how frustrating it is. It seems like many doctors jsut rely on predesone. It does help temporality, but like me it has other things it can do. If you are on it now. Try to take advantage of the fact that while it is supressing the t cells, start alkalizing to allow the body to heal. while the desease is at bay, the alkalizing foods may be able to do thier job.
