  • sad news about cob , the band had so much energy, from start to finish, all the

soton bands i worked with in the 80's non got the crowd going like the dusters, never a boring gig, i finished when they went pro, then lost touch.

  • I wish we fucking HAD gone pro! Lost touch? more likely that was from the copious amount of irresponsible outburst we indulged our punished minds and bodies to

in bigger systems, the best band of their

time nice to know their still doing it.

  • Who ARE ya? I'm the gobironist on this one...

  • One of the best performances I've seen in the late 80's as their sound was so intoxicating you could not get them of the stage.I miss those Mean Fiddler gigs.

Fantastic LIVE act!!One of the best...

  • Thanks a lot! It was an absolute pleasure to do and mental that people still comment on nights such as those. Maybe we underestimated it a little!

  • Still have a vinyl of the Dusters sadly no decks though. Used to have a tape too. Left it in the car and some bastard stole it and the car wankers! "Laserbeam in my dreams!" Still rattles through my head, I really miss that tape anyone know where I can buy their music! & is it true Woolworths signed them up way back?

Saw them at endorse-it in Dorset Brilliant!! thanks! Had to laugh when young lady next to me said "They're a Pronghorn Rip off!"

  • I know someone who had their car stereo nicked and the tasteless twats who did it actually took the Dusters tape out and left it in the car!!!

  • I am surprised. I was expecting to see you there tbh, though I guessed that it was because you dont live round here now do you? I think its a bit off if you werent even asked, I must say! I'm sure you'd have been welcome. I know Sharon would love to hear from you anytime

  • I AM one of the lads! Shaun, Mike and Roger plus a couple of others have ressurrected the Dusters and play around Lymo on occasion, I believe. Cob died of a heart attack a couple of years ago... Not heard the latest incarnation but the first was a hard act to follow, eh? I'm the one playin the gobiron on the above. Over and out

  • ha. i received a fantastic beating at a gig of yours in Hereford '89, 90ish. great gig, nasty beating. i was at college at the time though so was probably asking for it. even took 'if the sober go to heaven' to get signed. ah well.

  • Thanks for making me feel both old and young. Saw Cropdusters playing at Bournemouth Uni, or Dorset Institute as it was then. Not sure where the 20 years have gone. Thanks for a great trip down memory lane.

  • Superb stuff, first saw Cropdusters supporting TMTCH at Town And Country, must have been 1988 or so, saw them a few other times, can remember tiny place - Borderline or Break for the Border one Christmas and also The Levellers supporting the Cropdusters at Birmingham University. That's a shame about Cob, thought he was amazing on the fiddle.

  • Thnx a lot!Already comment earlier ,but now there are some new video's.Seen you in the 80's in Utrecht,Holland, and still enyoying your music!Greetings..

  • Another great one, was there a connection with the Peeping Toms? Thanks for posting these classics I've been searching for ages.

  • The Peeping Toms were The Dusters before and exist this very day containing several aged Dusters.

  • Thanks for this. I have some great memories of the 'dusters supporting TMTCH and I caught them the Marquee club back in the nineties. Brilliant band, where are they all now?

  • Its a pleasure! Most of 'em are still in Lymington. Cobert The Fiddler died of a heart attack earlier in the year(he was a good man) The drummer, me brother is in Manchester and I'm in Oswestry, Shropshire doing D.Y.F.C. (myspace). I'm the shaven one.

    Happy Xmas!!
