I've only been playing guitar for about 2 years now and I know I should prolly buy a good guitar, but right now I'm stuck with my Baja and songs like these are nearly impossible to play. So I just need to know, is this song in Standard Tuning (There's no way I can do the ending arps on my guitar) and are all the notes played by alt. picking or hammerons and pulloffs?

I played it on my guitar with e-tuning, but i had to play every note one step down because of the backingtrack.
the last part is with pulloffs and hammerons, here in youtube is a video of paul gilbert explaining this lick it's called "paul gilbert string skips"
