Aren't you pushing it by saying that Koreans and Native Americans are like brothers. I know that when I visited peru, Cuzco and Macchu Picchu, the inca people looked remarkably similar to koreans but they crossed over into the americas some 12,000 to 18,000 years ago.
Despite that, That did not stop Alberto Fujimori of Japan from killing the Inca people when he ran Peru in the 90;s. Koreans created the Japanese by taking over the Ainu of Japan so I as a Native American I hate Asians as much as I hate white;s and view the Austrailian Native people as a brother race. I worship the Inca empire.
@SPS148669 what have koreans done to Native Americans. Nothing. You are holding Koreans responsible for the action of a Japanese that was elected by Peruvians. It just does make any sense. As to Korean contribution to the Japanese that is debatable.
About looks: not all Koreans look like the Chinese - small, round face, etc. In the North, they show strong Siberian influences - tall, high cheekbones, sharp nose, brown-reddish hair. Some of them could pass as Native Americans. And vice versa, on many old photographs, you see Native Americans with definitely slanted eyes.
If you search for (youtube.com/watch?v=G8EcrI11oQ8 ) at 1:20 you will see Korean totem poles .... and so on so forth. It would be silly to deny the striking similiarities.
(....) thousands of years ago the Strait of Bering was not water, but a land bridge between the Asian and the American continent. So it's pretty clear there must have been migration. Or exchange and trade. I have heard the theory, that the ancestors of Korean, Japanese and Native Americans migrated from somewhere in Mongolia and spread over the Korean peninsula, than over the sea to the Japanese isles. Over the strait of Bering, they came into North America, where they spread.
C'mon there is no denying the striking similarities between Korean and Native American culture. The music, man ! When I first heard Arirang, I thought this must be powwow music. Korean drumming also often sound like powwow to my uneducated ears. There's also very chinese-sounding music, and I assume there have been a lot of different influences in the past. But underlying the Korean culture there is a very strong shamanist influence, that is very close to Native American.
its all political correctness really, the native americans themselves shouldn't really be considered asians because in reality they never been to asia, maybe long ago when they first migrated to the americas. Koreans and native americans do have a relation in culture. Native Americans should know where their first ancestors came from.
A number of Native people say they aren't Asian. Shoot, I'm not Asian. All-American but not Asian. So then those Native peeps including myself are "jealous"? U MAD
But then you're the weeaboo here so it'd make sense you'd orgasm over anything Asian, particularly Japanese (DAT PIKACHU CHANNEL).
@Enseni A Number of Native americans will say that because they just think they're Plain old native but no they are wrong...and you a native american wow man i don't mean to be harsh but study some Native american history "LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF!" why do you think Native americans Have thought to be asian COUNTLESS of times so please man go read some history and find out where we came from and if you're going to try to lecture me about my channel then you're not as "Mature" as you should be
Despite there being a number of Native populations that don't look "Asian", it'd take someone who is blind or really wants to see what isn't always necessarily there to assert any Asianess. The San look somewhat Asian and they're a pretty old population, older than modern-day East Asians. Are we to assume that all of a sudden Asians drop the cultural/ethnic moniker they've given themselves (many) and opt for a monolithic category? Derp.
@Enseni When i studied i saw that People often mixed up Natives of Brazil-Mexico and Natives of America -USA- They are totaly different and they look nothing alike it wouldn't take long for someone to figure it out
Also, Japanese feel close relation to Native Americans and (for the most part) consider then equals. Believe me, one they find out your Native American the "mysterious gaijin" factor is lost.
Strongly doubt that. If I were to go to Japan, I'd still be viewed as a foreigner, which I would be in a different country. It's as simple as that. The same would apply if I were to take a trip to other Asian nations.
I'd like to add that there wasn't a Mongolia that many years ago. Native phenotypes run the gamut with full-bloods not possessing the "Asian" look. East Asians don't seem to have the variety we do.
@Enseni Maybe not count for every native, but that's what happened when I was in Japan, and after reading up on it, many other natives as well. Maybe those who appear "more asian" or in this case japanese happen to them more as I'm always confused as half asian and not native american. There are alot of older Asians from asia who conserder us to be Asian (especially the inuit)
I think the reason why their inst as much variety is that Asia is still it's own contain where the majority is it's own people. Even full bloods here have white somewhere..my grandfather was full and had blue eyes. If you look at the Philippines there's much more variety in them, and I think that's because A) they were an island B) years of colonizations..in in places like Vietnam there is more variety even with full blood. That may be why?
3) There is a current that runs from Japan to Washington state that many Japanese sailors have gotten lost on and ended up on the west coast and became slaves to the Natives of that region, and there have been tests where Japanese DNA has been detected in Native Americans from the West Coast to around the Dakotas. Oddly enough much of the Native American DNA studies are in Tokyo.
From my understanding..The Japanese aren't of Ainu origin, however they are mixed with Ainu (much like today's Native Americans). It is possible that the Japanese and Native Americans are related for a few reasons.
1) Both are of Mongolian origin
2) Japanese ships sailed to Central America and went as far as the center of Mexico, then returned to Japan.
Koreans are related more closely to the Japs then Native Americans because Korean conquered the Native "Ainu" of Japan and were called the Yayoi back then. The Native Americans are related to the great Incas and Aztecs which were very different civilisations from the AZN.s
@SPS148669 No the aren't. Japanese people are descendants of the Jomon of ancient Japan and so are Native Americans. Native Americans and Japanese people are more closely related to each other. And Koreans never conquered Japan. Thing is Japan conquered Korea all the way from 1910 to 1945.
Boy, you sure skew history considering Japanese now have advanced technology while Native Americans no longer do and are unwilling to "Westernise" like the Japan. The Pacific Ocean is just too huge for Japan and North America to be once connected anyway. Native Americans may have the same Hair as Japs Haaaaaiiiiiirrrrrr!! but they have darker skin and bigger noses making them different from Japan.
@SPS148669 No they don't. My great great grandmother was Native American and she passed for white. Native Americans range from dark to almost white. There are Japanese people that I know that also can pass for white such as Ainu people and then there's Japanese who have dark skin as well. Thing is you have to be a complete retard to think that a group of people all look the same. No group of people look the same.
Well then your a Metis if was only a great-great-mother. And your other ancestors if they were white then they dilluted most of the Native American out of you for you to claim anything. And your a "Gaijin" LoL
@SPS148669 You sound like a complete dumbass. My family has no white ancestry and Metis or Mestizo refers to mexicans not native americans. Native Americans didn't even mix with White people because you guys stole they're land. Black people all have Native American ancestry because Native Americans actually liked us Black people unlike you White devils. And no my great great grandmother did not have any White blood in her. That's a fact.
Hate me if you must but other Native Americans don't think they came from Asia so you are also in conflict with them evolution wise since they believe "Spirits/A Creater" made them. So haw!

Maybe, westers had the similar medical technology to oriental Acupuncture. According to one ancient book in the Chinese' hands , Acupuncture originated from the East (At that time 'East' means ancient Korea) . It was written during the warring states period (BC3C), when Dangun Joseon of Korea was falling and losing its territories in modern eastern China. After the warring states period, Qin dynasty was built anexing the small states in modern eastern China.
After the foundation of Qin, the King of Qing built the Long Wall to protect himself and his new land from northern people such as the Huns. Well, Qing dynasty was built in the old Korean alnds annexing old Koreans so I am not willing to call this part Chinese history.

Though 1/5th of the world populations may be Chinese, they CAN NOT distort history.
Sooner or later, they will realize that their international credibility will fall to the ground. Much like their reputations with business matters.
It is important that Koreans should learn to communicate with "civilized" and "cool" manner and not be influenced by emotions.
