This review is so far off it's the worst I've ever seen. Go drive one of these and see for yourself. I looked at everything available and bought the X5 with the same engine (XDRIVE 3.5i Premium).

Acceleration in this vehicle is outstanding and road feel is second to none. No need to spend the extra cash on the 5.0i with the V8, the in-line 6 with 300HP is more than you need and is good on gas to add to the positives.

kelsey mays is actually a good reviewer than most car reviewers out there. i found that even with a boring old-gen car like the x5 can still be reviewed pretty decently.

Actually, this doesn't compete with any Audi, being smaller than the Q7 and obviously bigger than the Q5. The X5 competes with the VW Touareg, Porsche Cayenne and Mercedes-Benz M-class.

@arashn89 of course you're going to pay more for an m powered car versus the base model. IMO neither is worth the money, better of with a 1m or a 5 series gt if you want the space.

The Acura MDX looks less dated, tho it needs an update. They both have 300hp. Acura MDX is wayyy more reliable tho lol. Acura MDX or Audi Q7 for me...

@hondaftw1234 audi Q7 is a peice of shit, so is the x5, ive test driven both and ended up with a 08 mercedes gl 320, bmw and audi are way way too stiff

@hondaftw1234 nope i dident test drive that, I agree that the MDX is better than the current X5 in both reliability and technology, only downfall of the MDX is its fuel economy with its 6 speed transmission, they should move on to a 8 or 9 speed like bmw and mercedes
