  • I say it's ok to improvise. Just give the piece a different title, like Danse de la Chevre Heureuse ...

  • This is very different from other preformences that I've heard with this piece, and even how I myself play it.

But you have a beautiful sound and tone! Absolutly lovely <3

  • Lovely sound! I enjoyed your interpretation. However, there comes a point when what you are doing is improvising instead of playing a pre-composed work. If I had not learned this piece as well, I might have had a hard time recognizing it. You made wonderful music, but it is not what Honegger wrote or intended. Just a thought. Take it with a grain of salt.

  • great playing :)

  • This sounds really amazing! Congratulations on such a beautiful performance!

  • This is more like "Improvisation on Themes by Honegger" than Danse de la Chevre, but you definitely sound confident in your interpretation and do it well.

  • very nice, I like your gait!

  • the liberties you took with the melody work nicely. very good work!

  • You have a great tone and an excellent thought on how this piece should be played. I commend you in that you took a stance and stuck with it through the performance and did it quite well. However, a great many flautists may not agree. You take quite a few liberties in the melodic line that are probably not going to be widely accepted. I say this strictly as a teacher, knowing what the grading standards are like...as a listener...great job. You play well and have a good performance. Kudos.
