  • You are so cool.

  • cool

  • Great recipe! Ill try it with almond butter though

  • why raw

  • Teenage son! wow usually daughters participate..glad to see your family enjoys this lifestyle..and the icecream looks delicious

  • what is the best blender to buy in your opinion? Blend tec or vitamix

  • Excellent recipe. it could even be modified a little to be Totally Raw!! :)).

  • That butter is sooooo NOT raw.

  • Excellent ! I love it alot ! AAA+++ Recommended !

  • Um, Sorry but DO YOU HAVE A WATER FILTER ON YOUR FAUCET? Look up the flouride and toxic chemicals in your tap water people! WARNING!!!!Do not consume.

  • I made strawberry ice cream with blendtec

  • "and addition to that...we're gonna add a little bita vanilla." *pours black liquid*

    Me: O_O"

  • actually almond butter could be the peanut butter replacement

  • how did you crack that coconut so perfectly? My method is a rough hit with a hammer, nut inside a towel. I know there HAS to be an easier, better way...

  • HAD ME WANTING SOME BEFORE SHE FINISHED BLENDING.

  • good recipe... but you really should not label it "raw" peanut butter and maple syrup are not raw

  • I'm a heart patient, I have to maintain a low water weight. It kills me to see these recipes being shown without exact measurements of the salt. As you know too much salt is not good for anyone, and raises their taste level to where more salt is needed to be tasteful. Os, it would be good if everyone with recipes would not just dump in their salt measurements out of a bag and call it following a recipe. sorry just my thoughts

  • @radoliz2 you should buy indian black salt (aka "kala namak"). It's known to improve eyesight and your digestive system, plus it doesn't raise the sodium content in your blood (best salt for patients w high blood pressure). and also, you can just omit the salt if you want :)

  • Interesting, but ice cream without cream? Can't really call it raw with the peanut butter and Maple syrup in there. How about Almost Raw?

I make Raw Ice cream with organic raw milk, organic raw cream, organic raw eggs, organic raw fruits or cacao. It's really good and healthy coming from naturally raised animals. I admit I live where these things are easily available

  • Thats not raw

  • I liked the recipe. I do not like coconut. Do yu have another recipe that does not include coconut? What can I use to substitute the coconut?

  • Please correct me, but did you say grape seed oil is hydrogenated oil? If I misunderstood you then, I apologize. But, grape seed oil is highly recommended by Naturopath doctors just like olive oil, coconut oil, and sesame seed.

  • @alex6996able

No, I think she said rapeseed. Seriously. I know the name sounds weird, but rapeseeds are what canola oil comes from, and I think that's why she said to avoid it.

  • I thought you did a good job and I am thankful for the recipe. I have made my own raw ice cream with Almond milk and coconut milk and strawberries in the blender and put it in my ice cream maker.

However your ice cube tray was something I never thaught about using before. Kudos! Great idea!

Ps' I have watched a few of your movies and I wish you would post your website so I can go to it. I would like to learn more about what you have to offer.

  • I notice you didn't strain the nut milk. Is it for texture?

  • That looks pretty good.

Too bad I dont have dates, or I would make it right now. I've been craving ice cream for weeks ):

  • rapeseed oil = canola oil. it is not bad for ur health unless u chug it down like beer or something

  • 4:08 lie

  • green smoothie MILF

  • she is a MILF

  • Thank you!

I just love you videos and you channel!

My passion is to support our local farmers and eating local!

    I'm watching!

    Warm Regards

    Debby Beachy

  • That Thai Coconut you were about to scoop was purple, thats gone bad. Don't eat that.

  • hi, where did you get the chunked dates? I want to make the raw ice cream it looks so delicious! thanks for this recipe.

  • @81neyra You should be able to get it at grocery stores or baking supply stores. It's called chopped dates.

  • Sounds good. I will try this recipe.

    Thanks! = )

  • Coconut, almonds, pecan, peanut butter, maple syrup, dates, Ouch!! You may not want to eat that too often if you are watching your waistline... not that GSG or Kincaid need to, but not everyone may be as lucky ;P

    Also Coconut:

The good: This food is very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Manganese.

The bad: This food is very high in Saturated Fat.

    So enjoy responsibly :)

  • I wish you would post more recipes! I love your videos!!!!

  • raw isnt always healthy, TONS of sugar in that GSG! natural or not that is WAYYYY fattening!

  • @mvisage no doubt, you can get FAT on any diet, actually. Vegan, Raw Vegan, 811, Healthy Cooked, S.A.D., ect ect & raw isn't always natural...apparently as we've just seen. :p

  • shes a sexy milf....nice recipe too

  • Oh, ouch! She had me until the peanut butter! Peanut butter isn't raw.

    I bet it's still tasty, though :)

  • @emilyj1987 to honor the truth she did say 90% raw at the beginning... but you are right: why title the video "Making raw ice cream". It'd be like opening a vegan restaurant and serve spinach sauteed in butter. Hey it's 90% greens and only 10% dairy... it's not like there is any meat, fish, eggs or something on that dish! LOL ;P

  • @emilyj1987 you can replace the peanut butter with cashew butter

  • @emilyj1987 She did say 90% raw though....

Does look yummy, maybe try using raw almond butter?

  • @TheCaudillsinAZ Yep, caught that. I have a short attention span, lol

  • @emilyj1987 Peanut butter can be raw.

  • @emilyj1987 90 % raw, not 100%

  • @emilyj1987 She did say it's 90% raw at the beginning.

  • @emilyj1987 AHHH? in the beginning she said 90% raw. listen before you speak....

  • @emilyj1987 it can be raw if you use raw peanuts - right? can't you make peanut butter out of raw peanuts? wouldn't that still qualify as raw? I agree that the store bought peanut butter isn't raw ...

  • @UFCWARRIORification I think raw peanuts are actually poisonous... Cashew butter comes raw, and it's super tasty (if you like cashews).

  • @emilyj1987 well maybe that's what made me sick back in 1985 - they used to sell raw peanuts back then. I know for sure that I ate them and that I got sick from them. Extremely sick - I had to be hospitalized.

  • Ooh can't wait to try this. I hope my stomach can handle the almond milk tho

  • youre amazing! YA!

  • that was fun :D

  • ah fuck shes so hot

  • No nut mylk bad? Don't you need to strain it?

  • Wow, I never knew you could make ice-cream "raw." Is regular Ice Cream cooked?

  • @FreedomGale I'm a culinary student and we made ice cream. In order to make the ice cream you have to make a light custard called anglaise which is have to whisk egg yolks with milk or cream and sugar and cooking it gently.

once the custard is cooled down, then you put it in an ice cream machine which churns the ice cream while freezing it.

so yeah regular ice cream is cooked before its made.

  • @joyceisblasian That's custard. Well you don't have to cook it if you don't use egg. That's custard you're talking about I think. I'm not an expert in culinary arts but I do make ice cream in my machine a lot. Also I use almond milk and soy lecithin in mine.

  • @joyceisblasian The more you define things, the more rigid and fixed your world becomes. Beware your thoughts.

  • I'd love to enjoy raw ice cream, but I'm skeptical to whether it would really be "raw". I just thought that if food is heated and ends up being dead, wouldn't freezing foods kills vital nutrients as well? Would someone plz help me out on that! Thanks for any responses.

  • putting it in your freezer shouldn't cause much damage if really any, but under extreme temperatures yes it would definitely cause damage...Then you can always eat your ice cream fresh from the ice cream maker

  • Lol, the kid starts eating before she gets the topping.

  • @ocergnairb HE ALREADY KNOWS IT'S GOOD. HE'S HAD IT BEFORE.

  • @RDLONG30 OH GOD! OKAY! SORRY!

  • ok count me in

  • I thought it was gonna be a raw dairy cream ice cream, oh well you never lived untill you had raw dairy icecream... it might be risky with germs, but come on take a freaking chance besides this recipe looks like it cost more then a premium brand to buy...

  • @Energi2DmaxX

No thanks to raw cow's juice.

  • i respect that your vegan, but i rather take "cow juice" then soy milk i won't have erectile problems, i mean look at peoples teeth there are some teeth used to eat meat, i mean all respect but i enjoy eatting meat, no problem killing and butchering a animal for meat... but when shit hits the fan and no vegies are around and only dear or pork around what are you gonna do?

  • @Energi2DmaxX

If there is a deer or pig around then there must be veggies available somewhere, if not, i'll be a breatharian for awhile. Cow juice causes erectile problem since the saturated fat in it will clog the arteries in the genital. check out (foods that kill, part 2)

  • I notice in your more "professional" videos, your hair and makeup looks so good. You really look great!

  • Great recipe thanks, I'll give it a try.

  • It didnt look like ice cream at all :(

  • Look for raw icecream on youtube you will find much better made ones..

  • Didn't you hear her say 90% raw? Duh.

  • Isnt maple syrup cooked? That doesnt sound very raw.

  • how is it raw i dont get it?

  • Grape seed oil is better then olive oil !

  • She said rapeseed oil, not grapeseed oil. Rapeseed oil is what they use to make canola oil... NOT a good oil at all :-)

  • Is it an unhealthy oil? It's too expensive for me that's all I know about it.

  • @sn9696 She said rapeseed oil. I know it sounds the same... but they aren't the same. Grapeseed = good. Rapeseed = bad bad bad

  • Wow. This is delicious! Tastes so much like icecream. A great alternative.

  • 100% raw ):

  • Looks delicious! Thanks for sharing this. :) I'm thinking your recipe book might just be a great investment...

  • Looks great. I think I might substitute raw cashew butter for the peanut butter (because it's hard to get raw, organic peanut butter).

I usually just put frozen bananas through the juicer and add fun stuff to it for my ice-cream, but I finally have room in my freezer for my ice-cream maker bowl, so I think I will try your recipe in it.

Tonight I am having banana ice-cream with fudge, pecans and shredded coconut. Yummy.

Thank you very much for sharing!

  • They are WAY not the same. Sorry.

I haven't tried it with an ice cream machine, but it should work. I have another awesome chocolate ice cream recipe in Ch. 11 of my book using an ice cream machine.

    Robyn

  • @GreenSmoothieGirl Hi, Can I make it with soy milk?

  • So I would also like to know the answer to the question LBMarie9 asked, but also would like to know if you think an actual icecream machine would work approriatley for this because I have access to one. Further more, must it be eaten immdeiatley? Thank you!

  • Looks great! I still gotta find thai coconut meat---can I use just shredded coconut or are they way not the same! LOVE your videos!
