The fact is this. The hosts and guests on Red Eye insult EVERYONE. That is because the show is a COMEDIC PROGRAM. While some of the jokes may seem "off color" consider how offended and defensive you get when Keith Olberman or Bill Maher makes a hateful remark about someone. Do you get offended? Do you get angry? Or are Fox News and Red Eye not allowed to make social commentary. I agree that some things on the show are inappropriate, but unlike most it's unscripted so mistakes are made.

First of all, if you're living in Canada, I suggest you look into how much the government has already invested and will be investing in the military over the next 20 years. It's about $30 billion. Secondly, Canada was in the both world wars, Korea, the first Gulf War and Afghanistan. So when did our soldiers quit protecting our "fragile liberty?" And there are international air forces training in Cold Lake, Alberta every year. Canadian pilots also participate.

Just because you can say anything you want, does not mean you should. P.S. That witch Coulter WAS allowed to speak but her security team canceled the Ottawa speech due to protesters (which by the way were not violent & no arrests had to be made). They didn't provide huge mortgages to people who obviously couldn't afford them which should be common sense but if you are blinded by the $ sign like the U.S banks were then there's an issue.

If you have seen the FOX apology yesterday, it is not very impressive. He did say it was not his intent to mock the Canadian women, men and families in our military, but he goes on to say "for that I will apologize". Not good enough buddy. Apologize directly to those families and soldiers and remember you also insulted the rest of Canada (mounties, peacekeeping role, joking about invading etc. etc.) no apology was made for that. As far as I'm concerned his "apology" was just another insult.

Being American, and having a husband over fighting the saw overseas, I want to say I am truly embarassed over this news story, and I want to thank EVERY member of the Canadian military who has served and those who have given their lives.... please do not think this is the view of every American, as it most certainly is not that of us military families who can honestly appreciate your sacrafices...
