I had someone argue with me about saying the wavy effect you sometimes see in subwoofer videos was really happening. I explained it had to do with the framerate of the camera but apparently nobody believed me. Needless to say I am one of only two people with subwoofers in that neighborhood and the other guy sounds like he is rocking a single 10" or 12"... and I don't mean good ones.

I guess people don't realize that glass has a fluid-like nature? Ever look through the window panes of an old house, notice that they are blurred. That's because glass actually can move (sort of bend) without breaking. Glass only breaks when smashed or beaten with something or if the frequency is correct (which is why trained vocalists can break win classes wit their voice).

This is an optical illusion... the glass is not bending as you would be lead to beleve. This distortion is an artifact of using a "rolling shutter" camera system. The same type of wavy distortion seen in many cell phone videos. However, it must noted that the glass is vibrating heavily, just not bending and waving like in the video.
