As far as I know, the only move never used in wrestling is the Frankensleeper. You jump on somebody like they're going to Powerbomb you, then hold your legs closed til they run out of air. They drop backwards and you get the pin. You never see sleeper moves performed with legs. I suppose if no one invented it, then I just did.

Most finishing moves are ripped off from Japanese wrestlers. I thought Don Muraco invented the Tombstone, but Andre definitely invented the Pedigree on the Iron Sheik.

Andre was a much better wrestler than most people give him credit for. In fact, he was, for his size, one of the greatest of all time. He did a LOT of moves, submission holds, etc., back in the day. The problem with people's perceptions of Andre the Giant, is that most of the footage people have seen of him, is from the late 80s, when he was in very bad health, a lot of pain, and bad shape.

Meh. All the moves get recycled, so I guess it's not fair to say any one person "invented" moves such as the Tombstone Piledriver, the Pedigree, the Attitude Adjustment, and so on... but it's some sweet sh!t to see Andre The Giant perform them, so eff it. :)

@wyatt4970 actually, smart kid, FYI, when a wrestler debuts, they usually have their finisher named already, and the announcer will SAY the name of the finisher when they do it, as part of introducing them to the audience and GETTING THEM OVER. Also, FYI, if you'd paid attention, that was clearly Michael Cole and Tazz from WWE Smackdown, played over old Andre footage. No offense, but get a clue.
