I am glad this clip of "Gingerbread Boy " is back. I've missed it. Wish I could see if not the whole concert at least from the beginning of this tune. This was taken from Friedrich Gulda's Competition for young jazz musicians and he along w. Cannonball, Art Farmer, J J Johnson, Zawinul, Ron Carter and Mel were the judges. Winners included Eddie Daniels,, George Mraz, Franco Ambrosetti and Miroslav Vitous. Those were the days.....
