It also points out, quite clearly, that God was, at best, just one of them.

There is no evidence at all in support of (and quite a pile to the contrary) the presupposition that He was even a co-author.

The fight that I was referring to when I said that gays have "given up" on was the fight that the Bible talks about. in Genesis 1 and 2, you are reading the same thing. Genesis 1 tells you what happened on the 6th day. Genesis 2 tells it in more detail.

because in genesis at the end of the day, man and woman had been created.

When you read the "begats" it goes through all of them, to show you what basically happened. and then after that it goes into detail about their lives and what happened to them etc.
