@StonerMetalWarrior I was luck enough to see Lemmy perform in Oakland with Headcat if you are familiar with them (Slim Jim Phantom on standup drums and the guitar player from 13 Cats, and they play 50's style rock n' roll and covers). The place was packed, but the club only holds 300 people. Me and my girl were right up front. Got to talk to him before the show and he bummed a cigarette off me. Needless to say he's a very nice and down-to-earth guy.
i like it cause in that day and time this is more like an incantation than a song totally out of character for the band. met lemme once and was stunned by the presance of the man he is more than meets the eye . yes at the rainbow in my youth no less.
The backmasked message is "Now tell me, about your miserable little lives. I do not subscribe to your superstitious, narrow minded flights of paranoia. I and people like me will always prevail! You will never stifle our free speech in any country in the world, and (?) will die for us. In a single stroke, you poor, stupid, running dogs. Why is it...? the masiar, I love the masiar?"
By THEY I mean todays so called metal sound btw.....Not the new MOTORHEAD it blows me away too!!!LONG LIVE TRUE METAL...... not that pussy shit thay call metal today
The Watcher or nightmare both insanely deep tracks. I love everything Lemmy has ever done. Unfortunetely they dont write this type of music anymore. Its all my daddy molested me and shit like that. This is what i remember music sounding like. Too bad it all died in the early nineties. Long live CLASSIC METAL!!!!!
Does anyone else think this one sounds like it was commissioned for a Nightmare on Elm Street movie and never used? It's just speculation, but the lyrics totally make me think of that series.
This song (given the generally historic nature of their material) seems to perhaps be a reference to Vietnam, if there are hidden mesages, they may pertain to the groups thoughts on that subject.
todo bien hasta el puto final.

makes a nice pair with Unholy by Kiss. They're both sooooooooo mean!

@swine74 Ehh, Unholy is a good song and no offence to Kiss cuz they do their thing, but Kiss is nowhere near the same league as mighty Motorhead!

@TRuble510 Kiss will never be even close to motorhead! come on man, It's Lemmy!

Great song, but the second music, in the end, is not necessary. That's why I dislike this video. ;)

Ne one else notice the bass riff sounds like the one from the Motorhead song The Watcher, just slowed down?
calder1985 2 years ago
Not in the Motorhead style (synths, different mood, etc.) BUT STILL KICK ASS!!!!!
ANOLDMANONCRACK 2 years ago
its not synths really...there is a backmasked message in the song during the parts that sounds synthed
