Now if you ask me they should've concentrated on updating the f-15 live the MTD or similar instead of wasting god knows how much american $ on the F22. Money well wasted.
@MediaNKinG18 ya thats why we have the su-47 which no us jet can match up to nor the us has any type 0f su-37 terminator which will kick any us fighters ass
That's the problem with "Russian Technology" - for every 4 new capabilities shown in a single US Fighter, they'll build 4 NEW DESIGNS! That's what I call "Stolichnaya-on-the-brain"
I wanna see the jets aerobatics in action, have yet to see any video footage of it from the ground or even in the air. Its an amazing version of the Eagle. Hopefully the Air force decides to convert the F-15's into this form and use these amazing engines.
Reason 1: You can't just "put it into production", a research test bed is something completely different from a real production line product that is reliable enough to meet the strict requirements needed for a production aircraft.
Reason 2: The F-15 is an old fourth generation fighter, adding a complete 3D thrust vectoring system alone is expensive yet it doesn't give it much more real world capability; it is still an old and deprecated fighter that can't compete anymore.
