  • this is so genius :D

  • Love rowlf and the song is funny

  • "If I remember my history, Beethoven was supposed to be deaf."

"I'm not Beethoven, dummy, I'm a BUST of Beethoven!"

  • that beethoven head creeped me out as a kid

  • Just goes to show that one man's scales

    is another man's symphony!

I love that part! LOVE ROWLF!!

  • lps

  • lps

  • quartets, quintets, something and cantatas plus an opera and a few cantatas! XD that always cracked me and my sister up. luckily i still have the vhs with this on it along with octopus's garden

  • 'something' is fugues. : )

  • @hadla: I had the sing-along video, too! This was one of my favorite songs, next to "Movin' Right Along" and "Sweet Vacation".

  • did anyone catch the sticky key on the keyboard? XD

  • @aerinsoleris !?! Now that you mention it :o)#

  • The thing is, this whole song actually does only use eight little notes.

  • Correction, 12 notes... :P

  • Correction on YOU, 12 tones, 8 notes.

  • @bluesmaster79 Could you please inform me how these four tones aren't considered notes?

  • what was the one at 0:50?? ive been looking everywhere for it lol cant remember the name for the life of me..

  • Ode to Joy

  • fourth movement of the ninth symphony "freude schoene goetterfunken" the one with the huge choir; aka europe's anthem.

  • "Freude schöner Götterfunken" from Beethoven i think

  • its called "Freude schöner Götterfunken" from Beethoven

  • That would be "Ode To Joy" (Beethoven, of course), which had its internet breakthrough in the version performed by the immortal beaker.

  • AWESOME!!! Hornsby should do this as one of his awesome segue's!!!

  • this is sooooooooo cute :]]]]

  • Wonderful. Soo true

  • I like when he plays pathetique and the statue says "Don't humm!"

  • @WiccanThorn26 I yes. And I like his

    BOMBOMBOMBOMBOM in this song.

  • Rowlf is an Irish water spaniel.

  • According to hal Hackady (who wrote it), this song was originally intended for Schroeder (being a Beethoven fanatic) in "Snoopy the Musical" until they decided not to use his character in the show.

  • one thing they don't add is the fact that Beethoven the composer was deaf

  • Only during the last part of his life.

  • its the muppets scallaywag

  • hehehe I love it

  • Who was the special guest on this episode?

  • James Coco was on that show.

  • One nation under Dog! Impeach Obama, Rowlf for Prez!

  • You have my vote.

  • i rather have the dog then the dude any day my vote goes to rowlf

  • Wonderful. Big hug to the dog. "HUG!"

  • Soo true

  • I could see Rowlf singing this on "Sesame Street"...maybe even to Don Music.

  • Right!And having the Count counting the notes!"Eight Notes!VONDERFUL!"*cue thunder & lightning*

  • That could work, although the Count does have his own song which is similar..."Eight Beautiful Notes". It's on here somewhere!

  • Oh yeah...I think I saw it around somewhere.

  • @Katzi: You forgot one important part: "Ah-ah-ahh!" ;-)

  • @TelephoneRock4ever Oh yeah..you're right...thanks!!
