Did you know the engine is made in usa but the rest of the car is made in Australia? the g8 gxp is really an Australian Holden commodore.

Actually, I believe the engine is made in Mexico. I am aware of the car's manufacturing location. I just wish it had all of the options that they offer in Australia. They get wider rims and navigation over there.

@atekido no, it didnt. Holden spent $1 billion designing the 'zeta' platform for which this car and your camaro are using. GM does own Holden but it was Australia which spent the money and time. Holden had to prove itself to GM of there capabilities otherwise they probably would be with 'old' GM.

No, the fuel and spark get cut by the rev limiter at 6600 RPM. Unless I get some forged internals I don't plan on spinning it past that.
