Song and video - amazing. Yeah, I'd prefer it all in-studio, but it was directed by the fella that directed "Dragonslayer", so I'm not overly surprised (Industrial Light and Magic did the effects.)

What I really love is this is the Clearmountain edit - slightly more uptempo than the album track, with more emphasis placed on the clap-rhythms.

I love how the sound effects are just so real and true unlike the sound effects in music today with all that computer animated junk, They didn't have computer animation back then and that's why the music was so great because it was actually pure straight from the heart music.

This is a great pop song - McCartney has always known how how to have fun with a song.

Unfortunately, the clip lets it down a bit. All of the in studio stuff works well but the "flying" sequences are just annoying. If the whole thing was set in the studio with the band having a good time, I'd rate it high.

This is a perfect example of best & worst of McCartney. This is a cool little rocker, with good lyrics. But then he sells out in the video w/ a big, stupid production (I think it was done at the Star Wars studios). Do we have to take the song THAT literally and see him flying around against a bluescreen or whatever?

In my opinion, the original version of this video was better for these reasons alone:

Proper aspect ratio

Better quality

Song was originally at the proper pitch, but same speed.

Just my opinions.
