Thank you for posting! I don't know anything about Oregon, but am sure someone watching might know. I would try old logging campsites from the 1800's to early 1900's. I have here in Pa found great coins from these sites. It's worth checking out my friend. Bill(pa)

Well most of these coppers we do find are not really worth much. But we do find ones that are and the condition are better and obviously we will not rub them at all. Bill(pa)

Outstanding find guys! Better year than we are having.

I would recommend though not to rub the dirt off your finds with such effort, you will damage any coin you find.
