dammmm my water pump wen't out and my engine overheated to red line/ and it broke the therostat housing and i did not have any water AT ALL IN THERE, bet my head is warped but it's been 30000 miles since and no problem's(m52 b28)
Cylinder 6 had some issue with a connecting rod and it punched a hole on both sides of the block. We never could find a definite cause, because the connecting rod and piston were in so many pieces it was hard to say.

@mmmmtastyful The water pump bearing was toast so my best guess is it overheated. As Miles said earlier, there was just too much carnage to really figure it out.

thanks for posting that dude! how did it blow? i track my e36 ///3 all day and worry about that oil pump nut coming off.....
