They are gorgeous , I have a female chinchilla who is huge and i have a very big dog (male) and they get along brilliantly , he lies down and she jumps on his back and takes her around the house its soo cute , i think they might be in love x

Just clean the cage at least once a week and give them dust baths with the special dusk pet stores sell. Chinchillas really do like being cleanly. One of my chinchilla (georgia) used to pick up the poops in the cage and throw them out on the floor (the poops are kind of like rabbit pellets, they're dry and easy to pick up, you can train chinchillas to not poop outside the cage, i did).

i've had my chinchilla for about 4 years and they do not smell.the cleanest pet i've ever owned(compared to a hamster and rabbit). you just have to make sure to change the litter and give them dust baths about once a week. they cost a lot more than other small pets but they can live as long as a pet dog. they do not get fleas or ticks either because their fur is so thick that it would just suffocate them.needs a larger cage for jumping space. jumps about 5-6 feet when full grown.

i had two adult chinchilla and together they had to babies. They were so cute but we dont have any of them anymore but the mother is in my local pet store and i tjeck her sometime just to make sure that shes alright <33
