The Enlightenment was based in France, Switzerland, present day Germany, and Scotland in the 1600s-1800s and grew out of Lutheran/Calvinist Protestantism. The Moors were in Spain in 711-1492. Please try to read the teachings of Quran and Hadith (The word of Prophet) in any language you speak and you will hopefully find the answers you are seeking.

@fdzwes Moreover I would also request you to ponder upon the fact that people who embrace Islam ( especially in West) are educated and sensible people, who make this decision after a lots of research and soul searching. Most of them are content with Islam and have a better outlook towards life and fellow human beings
