@0o0Martijn0o0 Hard to say for certain, but yeah I would expect that Madame's accent is Cockney from East London. Dunno where Cosette's accent actually comes from, but it's very "High-class" and proper. Probably from the South
I love after she says "go and fetch some water from the well...", the way she looks at the audience like she expects one of them to run off and get it. ;) <3
Well, in my opinion, I don't think she was pitiful enough. I liked the 10th anniversary girl better. This child is amazing. I just don't think she fit the part.
@sharksldw i like her acting a bit better here though. i like the way she plays with her lines than the one in the 10th anniversary. but she was meaner in the other one :P
@redvelvetqueen24 The 10th anniversary one sounds worryingly sinister....imagine every line set in a prison where she's listing the rules :P but you're right, the 10th anniversary is better haha
i love how little cosette's mouth trembles with the music at 1:46! small and subtle, but brilliant! and of course everyone loves madame thernardier :D
Why did they cut part of Castle on a Cloud and Little People? These kids are capable. But I do like Hannah Chick as Young Cosette in the 10th Anniversary a little better.
Thanks for posting this! I watched it on TV last night. Compare this video to the Les Miserables 10th anniversary castle on a cloud, I think it's the same Madame Thernardier! (sorry, not sure how to spell that)
@TheatreFanatic4eva Not sure but I think they also cut out two songs and they took off most of Gavrosh's (sorry for spelling error if there was) song about Little People.
@TheatreFanatic4eva Actually yeah a verse was, I just checked the 10th anniversary. It was the verse in the beginning with the "hundred boys and girls" argument on how it wasn't meant to rhyme
@CrazyRhianne I think it's because she doesn't yet have the lung capacity. Getting a girl under ten to hold notes as long as neccessary can be a challenging feat. I missed the verse too, but what she sings is beautiful.
She is very cute. I really like that she doesn't over do it. I'm really sorry that I missed this concert. The dvd is Awesome. I enjoyed it just as much as the 10th. Well done to this little girl!! I'd love to have her confidence.
'Nooo one' That made me chuckle :L

1:28 her entrance is perfect! XD So funny! and when she says, "Or I'll forget to be nice." XD
When Fantine and Cosette walk passed each other.... whoa.....
That little girl is SO brave for doing that all on her own! I would have been so scared.
