I've heard in these posts, respect, understanding, and compassion. 75% of all army soldiers that served is WW2 stated that they were more afraid of killing another human being, no matter what the consequence, than they were of dying. Not only that but fear of failure was their second greatest concern.

Those are the true American soldiers I know and love. God bless the wind, the water, the earth, and the sun so that should ever they partake it will be pure and deserving of their consumption.

Its quite simple and people just don't get it.

These brave people put their lives on the line to uphold the constitution. Protect America, NOT an illegal war. An illegal invasion. The corporate masters want Iraq oil and will abuse the military to conduct their criminal behaviour.

It is the duty of every soilder who made an oath to liberty and freedom to stop this war.

@IamJustinSleator try to use a little critical thinking before you speak, a soldiers duty is to defend his country not line the pockets of billionaires which is exactly whats happening in iraq and afghanistan do some research its there for all to see

Goldsmith is a fraud. He FAKED a suicide. He did not attempt one as he likes to say. He faked having PTSD. Kris is a coward and that is what he will be remembered for.

The president must condemn the crimes of religeous and racial intolerance, of people of middle eastern decent. And agree to open dialoge with their countries. People will then see a move towards peace.

If not, you have to muster all your courage and resources and walk away when it seems like that is the only job that will allow you access to status. Just think, you won't have to have kids and torture them as they grow up. Life is going to come to an end on earth one of these days or years.

It was all entered into the record, CSPAN Archives SHOULD have it up soon. It was absolutely fabulous. I felt so much emotion and a real sense of some sort of small accomplishment for these soldiers. I must have felt so good for these men to share their insights. I commend them all. Bring our Troops HOME! RON PAUL 2008!
