  • Why do you guys just fight each other all the time on these comments? You don't even know what the other looks like, very hostile.

  • "He had lots of guts!"

  • Team Lazenby

  • Okay. George Lazenby starred in the 1st Bond Movie. So, do you agree that Sean Connery is the 1st James Bond? And, may I ask, "Who do you think is the best

    "James Bond?"

  • The worst Bond ever besided he also ruined this movie, when he, before the release for the movie on theathers, said that he wont do more films!

  • i don't care if he was a fine or bad bond but the movie was quite excellent

  • theres a supply teacher in my school called miss lazenby and apparently this is her grandad o.o

  • Sean Connery was the 2nd James Bond.

  • Yep, George Lazenby was the first James Bond.

  • @sarrose07 no he wasn't??

  • @sarrose07 @CinderAngel3 George Lazenby was not the first James Bond by any measure. If you're talking about the well-known MGM movies, then there are 22 007 films starting with 1962's 'Dr. No' and ending (for now) with 2008's 'Quantum of Solace.' Sean Connery can only be considered the second James Bond if you're considering films made by other parties (like the 1954 Casino Royale TV series) or the stuntman in the Dr. No gun-barrel sequence, who precedes Connery by like 7 minutes.

  • GRETA BOND!

  • if he would be good bond he would play in more bond movies

    not just in one!!!

  • im not retared

    just different taste lightstijn

ok : he is not so good as roger moore, sean connery and pierce brosnan

    is it ok now??

  • best bond movie ever

  • i think he did well in this bond movie,considering-he was fill-in and had no major experience-this one was full of action and with one of the best bond babes-diana rigg-it rates quite well-i agree-roger did bond-he was more the saint than bond-lazenby was offered more bond ,but he refused it-dont know if this is true or not--this bond movie seems the odd one out--between sean and roger, but its a good one--george's best movie...

  • the badest bond ...is lazenby

  • @Vaguanni The "badest" Bond?

    You're "retared".

  • This is a great video YNAD009. You did a wonderful job.

  • what are the songs called ?

  • heres the last part of 3

Although some claim the film was a box-office failure, it was in fact a huge hit, recouping more than ten times its cost and becoming the second highest grossing film of the year at the worldwide box-office.

There are all the reasons listed on Imdb. on why Lazenby didn't do James Bond. Brocolli didn't say he was terrible.

  • @coldlynx And I never said he was broccolli said he was terrible I said

lazenby called him asking to come back and broccolli said he could'nt

do that.you what me to give you the real story I will.

  • @coldlynx This is want happen. When Lazenby was offered the role

yes he was offered a 7 film contract. He did'nt sign for it.He just went

with one. When he played bond people did'nt like him.So his agent told

him look bond is dead.Connery is'nt bond and people will never expect

bond if it's the connery. So lazenby told broccolli he did'nt what to do anymore

so he took his agents advice.Broccolli had told him you dont give up on just

    one film.

  • @coldlynx When lazenby changed his mind and whated to come back.

Broccolli had told him I'm sorry I cant do that.I read this at the mi6 website

were lazenby was questioned about it.If you go to IMDB you will see Broccolli

saying he did'nt what him anymore.

  • @58fenix Wheres your proof? I already gave you what it said on IMDB. I didn't see what your saying anywhere. So when you find it please post it here.

  • @coldlynx GO to IMDB again and click on Albert Broccolli's name.Click on

his Bio and go to the bottom of the page. You will see him say that about

Lazenby asking to come back. And by the way dalton is not even CLOSE

to craig. No were near him.Why do you think craig his still going to do more.

And not only that craig had a delay and he's still bond.

  • @58fenix

Why Craig is doing more? Because he wants too dugh. Use a little common sense buddy.

  • @coldlynx Yeah and UHHHHH?I dont know what your talking about

dressing like clown?I have no clue what your talking about buddy?

  • @58fenix I thought you were a James Bond expert? I guess not.

Roger Moore dressed up like a clown in "Octopussy".

  • number 3 continued

He mentioned to his agent that he wasn't sure if he wanted to play Bond again, even before this film was released. The producers heard this and were none too pleased. Lazenby had been offered a seven picture deal and had signed a letter of intent to star in Diamonds Are Forever (1971). He had even been paid an initial fee installment which he later refunded.

  • number 2 continued. This lead to an article in which Rigg supposedly hated Lazenby so much that "She eats garlic before love scenes".

heres number 3. 3. Lazenby, believed that the Bond series was over in the wake of more sophisticated films like The Graduate (1967) and Easy Rider (1969), and the tuxedo-clad secret agent was out of touch with the newly liberated 1970s.

  • Heres number 2 its long so have to continue the next post.

    2. The notoriously harsh British tabloids writing up unfavorable stories about Lazenby and how he fails to measure up to Sean Connery, thereby swaying public opinion against the movie before it was released. One incident cited by Lazenby was during an interview with a reporter in the commissary in which Diana Rigg jokingly yelled from across the room "I'm having garlic for lunch, darling! I hope you are too!"

  • OHMSS is the most underrated Bond film, why?

  • George Lazenby was GREAT in this movie. This movie should have been more popular. GREAAT BOnd movie!!!

  • what a dumb ass

  • I'm bummed too ...what could have been? On her majesty's is great! I liked "spy who loved me" Moore's other efforts were pretty lame. Connery was great in all except "Diamonds are forever" ..Much too painful to watch.

  • It's funny how Lazenby"s Bond was know as the forgotton Bond or that this movie did not make money blah blah....but now over 30 yrs later and 4 Bonds later ....This movie is now getting the a Loyal following it Deserves...Remember This Never Happen To The Other Fellow...........

  • In my opinion Lazenby was a bit Lazyby.

  • This is like one of the best bond movies ever, I mean this is twice as good as the new ones with Daniel Craig. I actually fell asleep while watching Casino Royale, because it was just too boring, and I did the same thing another time when trying to watch it again. Old bond movies ftw!

  • Lazenby is Bond. He threw a punch, lit a cigarette and moved better than any of the other actors and he brought a serious yet simple aspect to the role, building on what Connery had done. Sad that he gets overlooked all the time!

  • BEST BOND EVER

  • Nice job ... Where is the music is from? Who did it? Thanks!

  • Just watched OHMSS (not a Bond fanatic - just a fan) - maybe the best Bond movie? I do get the feeling that Lazenby could have gone on to be the best Bond. He looks the part no doubt, but his delivery in some scenes were a little stilted. However, in other scenes he was very smooth - he seemed to improve as the film went on for me...perhaps a little more coaching and experience and we could have had the best Bond (although Connery is hard to beat)

  • Lazenby was the closest to the Bond of Fleming by his nature. Lazenby was an incarnation of what Bond should be. Bond is supposed to have been in a special corps for the British government. Lazenby was a fight instructor in the Australian Special Forces in addition to a zenith athlete and to top it all off he was a model. Hence, in my eyes, he was easily the most naturally Bondesque of the actors to have ever stepped into the role.

  • I also think Lazenby was the best Bond. So wish he had done more. Moore's Bond films will be forgotten when people will still be watching this one because this one is so cool. Apparently the set was really miserable and he was so aware people were still pining for Connery. So he felt unwanted and went. A great pity but at least we have this one gem.

  • I think George Lazenby was in over his head, since he had no acting experience. I also read there were tensions on the set between him, costar Diana Rigg, and his bosses. In the end, I think his bosses regretted hiring him, and weren't unhappy with his decision to leave. They may have even "nudged" him into quitting. God bless.

  • Lazenby is James Bond. He's the best James Bond of the lot, IMO.

  • lazenby rocks!

  • Daniel Craig Sean Connery Roger Moore are my fav bonds

  • People never give Lazenby a chance because he came right after Connery and only did one film. He had very little to work with, and had to try and live up to Connery's status. I think he's better than Dalton at least.

  • George Lazenby as bond this is bad comedy :P

  • I liked the way he knelt down, at least.

  • This is one of the best versions of Bond's theme

  • Nice job. I'm a big fan of Lazenby's Bond.

  • Awesome job

  • George Lazenby was the worst bond actor ever!

  • Ah!

Im not being horrible or anything, but you my have a had a better opinion if he had done more films rather than just 1. If say, he had done atleast 4 i think many peoples opinions would have changed because we would have seen more to get a better opinion of his bond. I give him avergage marks. 50 out of 100.

  • I wish Lazenby had made another bond movie just to see what his potential could have been.

  • So do i. i really do cos diamonds are forever is a wasted oppourtunity

  • Diamonds was pretty dire...I don't think any actor could have saved it

  • Yes if Lazenby came back the story would have changed and peter hunt would have directed it. and Bond would have finally got his revenge on Blofeld but now we are stuck thinking of how good the movie could have been if Lazenby had stayed.

  • Nice idea but Hunt wouldn't have come back...he was asked to do Diamonds by Broccoli but went on record saying he didn't want to do another Bond film because Broccoli and Saltzman were always fighting - they would finally split in 1974...had Hunt done Diamonds it would have been a totally different picture, not the tacky, tired and 'too American' film Guy Hamilton made

  • Lazenby gets a lot of undeserved crap. The final scene when Diana Rigg is shot - for an untrained actor, that was actually very well done. Dalton could have been better, but his scripts were poor, at best. Connery will always be the best Bond. Roger Moore played it with a camp quality for me - his two good Bond films were Live and Let Die and The Spy Who Loved Me. Brosnan and Craig are half decent. Brosnan had the impish charm, but with an edge. Craig will be judged after his 3rd Bond film...

  • this guy was the definition of shit! This movie was straight up Trash! he doesn't have the look, voice, or swagger to play bond! looks like a tall goofy dork to me... anyway this movie is shit because this guy is shit! dont hate, just saying what the rest of the world thinks!

  • And you know shit !!

  • rest of the world doesn't think it though

  • My favourite Bond film, my favourite Bond after Daniel Craig. Not your favourite but my favourite.

  • A thought dude: On Her Majesty's Secret Service is now regarded, critically, as one of the best Bond films. That Lazenby got some very bad advice from his agent and announced that he would do a "one and done" prior to the release of the film didn't help it at the box office. But it is regarded as among the top 7-8 Bond films.

  • my favorite one!!!

  • Everyone who thinks Lazenby is underrated is so right. I don't understand why he is so hated.

OHMSS is definately top 10 material.

Nice tribute you've made here as well. :)

  • I agree with all of you who say Lazenby was underrated. I think any true Bond fan

can see that he made a great James Bond. I am very disappointed that he didn't

take the 7 picture contract, because with his more serious Bond he could have prevented some of 007's more ridiculous adventures.

  • I too think Lazenby did a fine Job He was not given the best script to start with and he was very difficult to work with. I read Moore's book and was surprised when I read that Lazenby was offered a 7 picture deal. I guess you are refering to the Moore era but Bond had already been on some ridiculous adventures. The plot of Goldfinger was absurd, the charactors over the top. Plot of OHMSS was ridiculous hypnitized beauties assasinating officials A plot right out of a Dean Martin Matt Helm film

  • Yes, the plot could have done without hypnotized beauties bit.

  • Dalton Connery Brosnan Moore . . . Lazenby . . . Craig
  • I agree! Lazenby would have been way better then Moore! Lazenby should have been given the roles if Connery wasn't going to come back. Besides Craig he did have more punches in one single movie then the rest of em'. I think he would have done great if given the parts for the other films. Roger Moore would have been better off doing something else besides the Bond films! If they only would have stuck with Lazenby and kept if going, especially with Telly as Blauvelt! Lazenby did a good job, too!

  • Lazenby did a great job in OHMSS...the producers, Broccoli and Saltzman, did offer him a contract to make seven Bond films (and he was offered $1m to play Bond in Diamonds are Forever) but he turned it down...Lazenby now admits he made a huge mistake.

  • Lazenby is vastly underrated. His legacy is the guy who played Bond between Connery and Moore, so he's often overlooked. But he had the look, was convincing in a fight scene(moreso than anyone other than Craig), and he delivered the humorous lines well. Lazenby would have been great if he was allowed to do 4 or so movies. And given that he was only 30, he could have realistically played Bond through the 70's going into the 80's and still been YOUNGER than when Moore STARTED playing the role(46)

  • wat u high on, lazenby was terrible, brosnan was the best

  • I think Lazenby did a great Job! He's my second favourite after Connery. Infact, heres my order:

    1) Connery

    2) Lazenby

    3) Brosnan

    4) Craig

    5) Moore

    6) Dalton

  • Hey whats Your Problem. Lazenby is by far better than Moore.Moore is the worst bond in the history of the series Lazenby kept the series serious for the last time until dalton, but lets not forget the shit that came before dalton the Moore Years oh God he was Terrible and Craig he is good but Quantum of Solace was Terrible Not a Bond Movie at all.

  • yea your right about moore, he was a joke n i think Daltons portrayal of bond was the best of all of them! i just dont like how lazenby looks... doesnt have that bond image

  • I'm with you all the way with Lazenby but I think you're being way too hard on Moore...Live and Let Die, Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Your Eyes Only are great Bond films and Moonraker has its moments...his mistake was not quitting after For Your Eyes Only in 81

  • Fair enough i respect your views on the bond series but i just dont like Moore i think he was too old and Lazenby should have carried on to wipe out the Moore years

  • Moore did two Bond films too many...he should have packed it in after For Your Eyes Only but I think he was a good Bond although not in the same class as Connery. Lazenby did a great job in OHMSS and deserved another crack but, sadly, he turned down Broccoli and Saltzman's contract.

  • @royalefreshness

I have to agree with you about Moore. He was basically a poor man's Connery I'm afraid. He also didn't bring anything to the role. Maybe other than being goofy( He dressed up as a clown for crying outloud). But all the other Bonds brought something different to the character and made the character their own. Looking at Moore's performance nothing really stands out about his Bond.

  • @coldlynx Did you really mean what you said?

  • @58fenix Of course I did. Why would I say it and not mean it?

  • @coldlynx Tell me WHY someone that was so pathetic to you did

the most out of everyone that has played bond, even though connery

    could have continue!Explain?

  • @58fenix

Are you saying that I should give credit to Roger Moore for being in the most James Bond movies?

Eh no, I don't care if he was in the most Bond movies. He was terrible in the role. I would have been happy if Lazenby had stayed and then had Timothy Dalton took over.

And Connery couldn't continue anymore. He was terrible in the Diamond Are Forever.

  • @coldlynx It does'nt make sense for someone to last that long and not

be good.Unlike dalton and lazenby if they were anygood they would

have done more.If you moore was terrible then that would mean he

would have not did 7.If dalton was so great he would have done goldeneye.

And brosnan would have not been bond.

  • @58fenix You actually think that tenure is based on how good they are? Bwahahahahahahahaha Roger Moore was still terrible. And he ruined James Bond by staying on too long. "A View To A Kill" his last movie was one of the worst James Bond ever. He even admits it was bad.

And FYI Dalton and Lazenby both didn't return. Because they both "chose" not to. The producers wanted them back. But Dalton wanted to go back to the theater again. And Lazenby wanted to do other movies.

  • @coldlynx Okay you actually believe that nonsense.Look I have seen

and master bond films quiet well.I know how bond is suppose to be,

I know how interesting you would have to be and what your suppose

to have.I'n not going to get into the dalton situation because I feel its

a waste of time to get into.but I will tell you that that was a lie, dalton

just was'nt that good. That's all, lazenby called broccoli back to ask

to play bond again, broccoli said no he could'nt do it.Nobody did'nt

    like him.

  • @58fenix

Master? hahahahaha you sound like a dork.

Ugh no, your the one who has it all wrong. Broccoli liked Lazenby, he even said that he would have been the best Bond had he stayed. Go check imdb.com and go listen to the DVD commentary. Of "ON Her Majesty's Secret Service". I have all the Bond films on DVD. So I know my James Bond too.

  • @coldlynx Broccoli said a lot a things! And you are right he did say that.

But broccolii changed his mind go to imdb and you will read that he said

that.So I'm the dork uh,yeah the dork thats right! You just keep laughing.

Cause it means nothing, until then you will always be wrong.

  • @58fenix

Thats okay, I don't care if you think I'm wrong. Its simply mind over matter. I don't mind and you don't matter.

  • @coldlynx Uh, can I say OWNED!

  • @58fenix

Sure thing babycakes. You can say whatever you want. Daddy don't mind.

  • @coldlynx LOL!HAHA!Alright its cool,no hard feelings man.I was

    just making a point!

  • @58fenix

LOL What hard feelings? I already said I don't care. Having a hard time understanding English there sweety hahahahahahaha.

  • @coldlynx Here's the difference between me and you I got facts you dont.It

is all about performance and how many people like you and accept you

for the role.Brosnan was suppose to be bond in the first place, not dalton.

Dalton had his chance and screwed up.And there is no doubt people who

play bond have there films they dont like.Moore had some good ones and

bad ones.Brosnan had good ones and bad ones.Connery had the same.

    Whats your point.

  • @58fenix

Ugh no, Dalton was asked to play Bond since the 70's. He was even asked to be Connery's replacement. But he felt he was too young and declined the offer.

Dalton didn't screw anything up. It was the production company who screwed up. They got into a lawsuit

Thats why it took 6 years for Goldeneye to get made, after License to Kill. You want facts, go check out imdb.com and go listen to the DVD commentary of Goldeneye. They tell the whole story in there.

  • @coldlynx Hey uh I just found your other comments I did'nt read them

until them.SMoothe danger means someone that had a style that

look real cool very interesting type of guy.Like I said broccolli said

a lot of things. But that still does'nt change the fact of what he said.

Lazenby did call him and whated to continue, but brocolli said no.

    Its on IMDB!

  • @58fenix

Yeah right, dressing like a "Clown" is style and cool hahahahaha.

If you want me put the whole IMDB trivia. I will, theres a lot of words so I'm gonna do them one by one. heres the first one. And this is from IMDB trivia not my word. 1. Lazenby's youthful cockiness rankled Albert R. Broccoli's nerves. One incident mentioned is Lazenby skiing down the slopes on his own (resulting in the broken arm) and a moment of arrogance on Lazenby's part that spoiled a cast and crew party.

  • @coldlynx He had this smooth danger to him,the way he move the way he walked.

He just worked. He had what connery had.I got facts to back it up you dont.Nobody

is going to keep something that is'nt great and just say alright lets just keep going

with this one.You see, now does that make anysense. You can do that laughing all

you want. But while your laughing with no facts,I'm the one doing the real laughing

    around here with real facts.

  • @58fenix

What facts? All you did was rant. You didn't give a website or an article.

What the hell is "Smooth Danger" suppose to mean?

Sorry but I've never heard anyone call James Bond that. And Moore was never smooth. He didn't even do his own stunts. He always used a stuntman.

All the Bonds did their own stunts.

  • @coldlynx Now about the stunt thing.Yes we all know moore did'nt do

his own stunts.I learned two things from moore.1,if your in your 50's

you can continue to play bond and 2,it's not about doing your own

stunts. It's about performance first. If brosnan did'nt do any of his

own stunts he would still be a badd ass, because peformance wise

he was great. Now as for dalton that did nothing he did all of his own

stunts but his peformance was'nt great and he ended up doing two.

  • @58fenix

    1. No he couldn't ,he looked like a Grandpa in his last James Bond movie. All the movie critics even Roger Ebert said he was too old.

    2. Ugh yeah it is. It makes James Bond look more real. And what are you talking about Brosnan did do his own stunts. He even got injured in one of the movies. The only Bond that never did his own stunts was your favorite Roger Moore. Why? because he was wimp.

  • @coldlynx AGAIN!I already know the whole story my friend you

dont have to tell me anything.Yes he was asked back after connery

was done. But this is what I question if he took the role and was

old enough to play the character it makes me wonder, would bond

have continue.NOT!Look at the facts,he was given a chance to

deliver and did'nt.Moore on the other hand was accepted by people.

    Lazenby was'nt or dalton.

  • @coldlynx But even if that was true about dalton which it is'nt,

he still had more time to continue.Look at moore and brosnan.

They stopped playing bond in there mid and late 50's.Dalton

was around 50 and could have done more.So dont give me that

    excuse about him leaving.

  • @58fenix

How is it not true? "License To Kill" came out in 1989. "Goldeneye" came out 1995. Do the math smart guy. Thats a six year gap. And Dalton didn't want to do it anymore. He wanted to move on to other things.

  • @coldlynx Dude yeah I agree he was too old moore even said it himself

he was too old.You do know also TLD was written for him.But to me I think

he should of stopped after AVTAK!But Moore looked old for the role when he

started,he was 45.So that did'nt bother people. That's why he sticked around.

Here's the thing like I said,Moore proves that bond could be in his 50's and

continue to play the role.HE PROVED IT AND DID IT.

  • @coldlynx And what are you talking about.Of course brosnan did

most of his own stunts. He almost did all of them.I never said he

did'nt!CAUSE HE DID!And the bond film he did he got injured on

was DAD!And Moore is'nt my favorite.Again I dont care if you dont

do your own stunts thats not what makes you bond. What makes

you bond is how you portray the character. That's wants important

first.Look at dalton he did all his own stunts and he became one

    of the worst.

  • @58fenix

Dalton was great. He was the toughest and the meanest of all the James Bond. The exact opposite of Roger Moore. Moore was the weakest and wimpiest of the all the James Bond. Thats why he never did his own stunts. He only cared about the money. Thats why he stayed long. Because had no other job.

You obviously like your James Bond to be a weakling and a wimp.

  • @coldlynx No dalton was horrible. But again I'm not going to get into

that him doing two speaks for itself.Look I have two friends that like

dalton and I have debated with them about him for a long time. But

here's the thing about the imdb and the press. As for dalton and the

law suit thing.I believe that happen but I also believe that had a lot

to do with dalton. They just dont tell you everything. There not going

to tell everyone yeah he was'nt that great he sucked so we went

    with brosnan.

  • @coldlynx There not going to tell you that.There's no way.I would'nt

and if you were in control you would'nt.So they had a excuse and they

used that law suit thing.as for dalton i'm done talking about.I have had

many debates about it and him doing two proves it.So as long as thats

the case he will always be a low rank bond.No matter what the situation

is.I'm done with.If you bring up him again I will ignore and move on

because its a waste of time.

  • @58fenix

I don't care, if you don't like Dalton. Like I said your probably a sissy like Roger Moore. You want your Bond to be weak and a joke. And look fake with his stuntman.

Thats OK people also like Adam West as the weak and wimpy Batman. Instead of the Dark Tough Batman that Christian Bale did.

  • @coldlynx And I am not here to talk about batman.I'm here to talk

about bond.So you use a little common sense.Question?WERE'S

YOUR MIND AT WERE'S YOUR HEAD,I AM REALLY STARTIN TO

THINK SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOU!LOOK AT THE FACTS!

Dalton did 2 movies, moore did 7,people who are real bond fans

know who roger moore is and dalton.People who are bond fans

dont know who dalton is and know who moore is.Dalton was boring,

no threat, connery even said it himself he was pathetic.IMDB it!

  • @58fenix

I don't give a shit if Moore did 100 James Bond movies. I will never respect him. Because he made James Bond look like a "Wimp", a "Sissy", an "Old Man", a "Fake", and a "Joke".

Which is why you like him so much. Because you like all those five things.

  • @coldlynx Do you really think people who go to the movies give a

shit about them doing there own stunts.Check this out dalton did his

own stunts and look how his success was compared to moore's

big success that did'nt do his own stunts.OWNAGE!It's about performance.

If you cant play the role right and you do your own stunts I dont care if

you jump off a cliff and onto a plane going 300 miles per hour.If you

suck bond wise then YOU WILL NOT WORK!

  • @58fenix Hell yes they give a shit. Because it tells the audience that these guys are working their ass off. For us to pay good money.

All the golden age actors did their own stunts. Guys like Flynn, Bogart, Cagney, Peck, Stewart, John Wayne, Eastwood etc. Thats why we don't have big stars in Hollywood anymore. Because special effects, and lazy actors like your favorite Bond Roger Moore.

  • @coldlynx Dude can you read??????AGAIN people dont care if they

are doing there own stunts.GOT IT!If that was true RM would'nt have

done 7 bond films. There is prove nobody cares!Get throw your head!

Plus brosnan did some of his own stunts not all of them. The reason

is because the producers feel that if he get's hurt they wont have an

actor for a period of time. That is the truth!Micheal wilson said that!

I love the fact that people can do there own stunts. You just make

    sure you play bond right!

  • @58fenix I don't want to read you saying the same shit over and over. Moore did 7 bond movies blah blah blah blah. I don't care, thats not a good reason. His James Bond movies still sucked. I've seen them all and they all sucked. James Bond was already popular. Anybody could have played James Bond and make 7.

Brosnan at least did his own stunts. Of course he can't do the impossible ones. But he did the ones he could do. Moore didn't do anything, not even the fighting. Thats just gay.

  • @coldlynx Eastwood and john wayne did'nt do shit!Are you kidding me!LOL!

Compared to what moore had to do PLEASE.Your starting to sound more

stupid the more you type. And if you never respect moore then you disrespect

the franchise. If it was'nt for him lame dalton would'nt have even done bond.

He was'nt even suppose to be bond in the first place. You do know that right.

    Brosnan was suppose to be!

  • @58fenix I bet you don't know who I'm talking about when I said Eastwood and John Wayne hahahaha. Both those actors did more action movies than Wimp Moore. They ride horses, shoot guns, fight, everything and it was all them. Real men, not the hollywood special affects like the Matrix.

Stupid I respect all the Bonds except Moore because he sucked. And Dalton was asked to be James Bond when Connery left idiot. He said no, because he was too young.

  • @coldlynx And he did do his own fight scences. Are you really this stupid???

Me and anyone else would look at what you are typing and laugh.I cant believe

    what I'm reading.

  • @58fenix Hey don't get mad at me. I seen the documentarys and the movies. Those are my proof. Calling me stupid isn't proof stupid.

  • @coldlynx And BTW it's CRAIG,Not CRIAG Dummy!And your calling me stupid!

So your calling craig stupid also,he did say that!Nobody knew who craig was

here in the united states until he was bond.Yes he he did say that about bringing

something new to the role.Anyone who plays bond should do that. That's normal!

That's not why he said yes!He said yes because he said out of his own mouth

a lot of these opportunities dont come around.I hope you can read!

  • @58fenix

I didn't call CRIAG anything dumbass. "I HOPE YOU CAN READ!". He's my favorite Bond of all time. A real tough Bond. Unlike your favorite WIMP ROGER MOORE.

People in the US knew who Craig was. He was in Tomb Raider with Angelina Jolie idiot. One of the most famous actresses. How can you be in a movie with her and not be known. COMMON SENSE moron.

  • @coldlynx It was the 70's!Your problem is you dont like moore the man

who GAVE lame dalton an oppurtunity to play bond.I dont care what you

are wearing depending on the situation. And another thing use your

own words dont still mine! You cant even talk crap right. So you go and

use someone else's.It's funny were I got all the facts to back up I am

right yet you claim what you are saying and cant prove jack.TIMOTHY

DALTON PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!Sean connery would look at you and LAUGH!

    IMDB what he said!

  • @58fenix Bahahahahahaahaha Moore didn't give Dalton anything. Dalton was asked before to play Bond before gay Moore.

I didn't steal your words idiot. Quit crying you big baby.

No whats funny is that your only fact is that Roger Moore was in 7 Bond movies. At least you prove that you can count hahaahahahahaha.

  • @coldlynx What you just said is an insult to me.So let me get this

straight your calling Roger moore a wimp were he did the most out

of everyone,he proved to everyone bond could continue,he is a BIG

reason why other people like lame dalton, smooth brosnan, badd ass

craig got to play bond in the first place and your telling me dalton was

the toughest and meanest because he did all of his own stunts?????

First of all I dont give a crap if he almost killed himself and he did a

    amazing stunt.

  • @58fenix No he didn't do the most. Because he was lazy and didn't do his own stunts. He was also out of shape.

No James Bond was already BIG without Roger Moore. It was all thanks to Connery. Moore was just lucky to get the part.

No dick I didn't say that. I said Dalton is tough and mean because thats how Dalton played Bond. He made Bond look real. He did it with his performance and action scenes.

    Moore made Bond look fake.

  • @coldlynx The fact is PERFORMANCE WISE he was Boring!Go to imdb and

look at what connery said about him.He will tell you that he was no threat,as

I said myself and I dont even know connery myself. The real wimp here is dalton.

Did he act like a mean tough guy yes.But thats not the goal here. It's not about

acting like it,it's about becoming it.CRAIG is the first one to do it right.now thats

a tough bond.Perforamnce wise he's great and his danger is so up there.Action

    Brilliant.

  • @58fenix James Bond is a secret agent who kills people all the time. Your saying guys like that aren't mean and tough?

Dalton a wimp? hahahahaha Dalton could kick your ass. And your favorite Bond Roger Moores ass anytime. Oh wait Moore would need his stuntman to fight hahahahaha.

  • @coldlynx Roger Moore is dressed up like a clown in octopussy???LOLOLOL!

What are you talking about?????LOL!Craig's bond dressed up in hawaiian

    clothes,but does that make him a punk?NO!

  • @58fenix

Your comparing Hawaiian Clothes to dressing like a clown? Are you serious? You are a dork.

Criag also showed his muscular body. While Moore showed his out of shape wrinkled body LMAOF!

  • @coldlynx He only cared about money!Of course he did.So did connery,

and brosnan.Craig will to once he's done doing the third one.Cause at

first you got to prove you are bond then you get the bigger checks. And if

it was really about money it was with connery.Thats why he stopped.Unlike

moore he continued and could have stopped after doing five. But kept going.

So if you look at the difference between the two you will find who was really

    about the money.

  • @coldlynx And he stayed long because he had no other jobs.Dude you

got to be kidding!?!LOL!Dude when you have a role like that, everyone whats

    you.Your JAMES BOND!Are you serious!!!!!!!!!!

  • @58fenix Not Roger Moore, what movies did he do after James Bond? Thats right nothing, he was a joke.

All the other James Bond didn't have trouble finding jobs after James Bond.

  • @coldlynx Dude I will beat the shit out of you and dalton at the same

time.DALTON WAS PATHETIC GET OVER IT!HE ONLY DID TWO

IDIOT.And it had nothing to do with that court shit.It was him!I bet

you a hundred dollars old ass roger moore would woop your ass.

  • @coldlynx You know now that I think about it I take that back.Anyone

who is calling someone out on the internet is a PUNK!There is no

need for a debate if it envolves a fight. In real life you would'nt be

saying that to me.I can debate with out getting pissed off,I dont

have to get pissed of because I am the one that is right here.

I got real facts of why I am.

  • @coldlynx Why in the world would someone that is in his late 50's

have millions of dollars what to keep on working after playing bond.

He can sit on his ass all day if he wants to and he did. There's no need

to continue,I would be done if that was the case and infact it's a perfect

time for him to retire anyway. As for craig you do know he did not what

the role in the first place!

  • @coldlynx You would also know that he said in his own words that

he said yes to the role was because felt a lot of these opportunities

dont come around all the time. That's why he said YES!It was'nt because

of money. Now that he is bond he has done two already so that means

now it is about money he will get paid the ultimate price now so yes it

    is now about money.

  • @58fenix Stupid! Criag was already in a lot movies before James Bond. He was in Oscar movies like Munich, The Road to Perdition, and Elizabeth.

He chose James Bond because he wanted to bring something different to the role. Didn't have anything to do with the money.

  • @coldlynx And its the samething.Your worried about what he was

wearing is what makes him.It was during the 70's I dont care what

the style was.Connery had on a dark pink shirt on in you only live

    twice.Nobody cares!Bond has a pretty boy look any so,so what.I

have never heard any talk about what they are wearing so we can

critize them for how they are.Yes roger moore was old but he was

still a badd ass.Do I think craig is the toughest bond Yes,but moore

    was a huge success.

  • @58fenix No its not. How is dressing like a clown a style? Maybe girls like Lady Gaga can dress like a clown. But James Bond should never dress like that.

People wear Hawiiann shirts when they go to beach. People don't wear Clown Costumes when they go to the beach. Unless there stupid like you.

  • @coldlynx He's the reason why lame dalton, smooth brosnan and tough

craig is here anyway.like I said if moore was'nt great then people would

still would have believe today that connery was the only bond.Moore's

fight scence's were him.The ACTION was not him. That's the difference.

And what do you mean he made bond fake.Look at goldeneye, the scence

were bond jumps of the motorcycle to get to the plane.I dont see you saying

    anything about that.

  • @58fenix

Roger Moore never did his own fight scenes you moron. He used a stuntman. Go watch the making of his James Bond movies. He would sit on his ass, while his stuntman did the fighting LOL!!!

    Roger Moore can't fight. He's a fake.

  • @coldlynx Lame dalton puts a hook on a plane and get's lifted up back

into a plane and fly's off.I dont see you saying anything about that.Look

at DAD,that was all unrealistic.I dont see you saying anything about that.

Bond is suppose to blow us way we have to see amazing stunts and it

has to be seen as realistic even though that stuff cant happen in real life.

Die another day was horrible because about 80% of that was all special

effects. That's what was the problem was and it got brosnan fired!

  • @coldlynx SO WHAT!II mean,I cant remember re calling any problems

with connery, moore and brosnan when they were bond.Except when

    brosnan got hurt.But other than that,no problems.You know why?Because

they were great. If there was a big gap between dalton then maybe you should

look at the real problem and not the excuses. That's the thing that scared me

about craig.I was worried, because I did'nt think people were going to accept

him and what was going on with the films. He's bond so he's proved it.

  • @58fenix

I did give you the real problem. There was a lawsuit with the film company. Thats why there was a delay. Go check it on IMDB.

Criag was great as James Bond also. He's like Dalton, a tough and strong James Bond. Not like that wimp Roger Moore.

  • OHMSS is a wonderful and underrated film...Lazenby gave Bond more layers and depth than anyone...he had physicality, suaveness, emotion, seriousness.....such a shame he only did 1 film!

  • Every Bond has a shade of the character that is strictly theirs. Connery's movies had an undeniable fun about them, Moore's films extrapolated on that fun with his signature humor, Dalton had a cold edge that gave his bond a frightening seriousness, Brosnan was that cool, suave Bond we all wish we could be growing up and Craig has the ruthless cold hearted Bond from the books down pat. But I've never seen someone pull all these off so well and believeable as George Lazenby.

  • Great Bond, great movie. Shame he didn't stick around. He sure kicked a lot of butt!

  • Does anyone have the missing rooftop scene in OHMSS ?? It's alledgedly on the US versions.

  • Comment removed

  • I'd love to see this deleted scene as well. I was hoping it would be on the OHMSS dvd as a bonus feature but it hasn't happened. Has anyone seen it?

  • Lazenby was in a no-win situation back in 1969...an Australian nobody following Connery, but his performance is OHMSS is excellent and vastly underrated. His 007 is the most human of them all - he's tough but he also bleeds, feels vulnerable (when being chased by Spectre agents in a Switzerland), falls in love and he even cries (when his new bride is shot). Time to give this Bond, and this brilliant film, some respect. I rate OHMSS as the best Bond film of all.

  • OHMSS is the best!

Mostly becuase the story is unchanged from the novel.

  • Yes, I think it would be the Flemming's favourite film.

  • Too bad he never lived to see it. Maybe he would have somethings to say about Lazenby coming back for the next one.

  • I totally agree with you. OHMSS is a pure 007 movie. The perfect mix of all the ingredients a Bond movie should countain. The best film of the saga.

And Lazenby did it very nice. It was not easy to make the audicences forget Connery, but he was better than him.

  • Lazenby dit a very good job at this time.

  • the thing about craig as bond is he is the best actor out of all of them in other roles. of course everyone says he's gritty but he also gives bond dry sarcastic humour (not cheesy like moore) and powerful acting. also he's the maverick bond. not messing about with toy gadgets is a good thing imo.

  • look I know you like him because some people like pure action and some people like some jokes with action ,get my point
